Years back a massive banner went up outside a very imposing property close to me stating 'Engelbert Humperdinck is moving here. Can you imagine the Chaos! I was beside myself,sadly it died down. It was in Stoke Poges, Bucks and only the man himself can explain this mystery!

This album is beautiful always my favorite. My favorite song I wish you love. I play it so so many times. For me this song was played for me by a person saying good by. He was kind and let me down so easy. Whenever we would run into each other he would smile and say . I wish you love. He has always been a true friend. I remember finding this album and I couldnt believe who the handsome man was. This was in 1979, along with other albums my late mum, and I sat and listened to them all and she told me all about Engelbert. I was fixed from then on your music. I can understand why my father was jealous of your looks Engel. Love letters in the Sand, Didn't we, I loved and still do. So many great songs its hard to pick the best one. ❤️❤️

Engelbert, this album is one of my favorites from your early career. So many of the songs are absolutely magnificent, but the best song on this album, in my humble opinion, is "I'm A Better Man". It is my second most favorite of all your songs. The lyrics of this song are absolutely stunning, not to mention the beautiful melody. Of course, your voice is superb. Thank God you had the wherewithal to listen to people who had the ability to shape your career, and make you the international star you are today.
