Interesting video. I’ve never thought about air brushing flies. Going to give it a try.

Hi Norbert. What brand of paint do you use? What ratio do you dilute it to and do you use normal water? Do you have to set the paint by ironing it under a tea towel, or do you use the fly without setting the paint at all? Could you send me a link to the exact set up that you bought as there’s so many different set up’s on Amazon and it gets a bit confusing. I only want to do the sort of detailing that you talked about on my flies, so I don’t think I need anything more than what you bought. I look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks and kind regards, Chris Efstratiou.

Hey this is the one I have, like I said, paint just get acrylics for fabrics, yes I dilute with normal water .paint should dry quick at the air if you apply the correct amount .

Cheers Norbert, my fault entirely, I didn’t realise I had to swipe across to see your reply, my bad. Thanks you for the information, I just didn’t want to make a mistake and buy something unsuitable, but will have the confidence now to make a purchase. Thanks so much for the help and information. Do you set the colours in any way, or do you fish the flies once they are dry? Thanks again and kind regards. Chris Efstratiou. 😅
