I started playing Fortnite back in October of ‘17 and I don’t remember the line at all.

Eliminating MF's by re"introducing them to gravity" is still to this day my all time favorite Elimination Text.
Just the other day playing some rando-squad-reload and some sweat built themselves a birds nest that i quickly located the 1 layer level on and shot out from underneath him. Always feels great watching some build/sweat be their own demise.
Miss old fort it was peak double pump it was sick and i remember the storm being something you had to understand and they even had the rose team leaders back bling as the orginal concept for the storm tracker and then that got turned into our new ablity of storm tracking with the little card things

You know how many games I lost back then because just like elden ring's problem The fucking height counter wouldn't reset So what essentially said that you are at a certain height when you were at a lower height It's just weird programming sometimes Like if you played elden ring and you've used torrent you know what i'm talking about
It's killed me more than the enemies of the game except Malenia cus who tf has time for her.

Fortnite was REALLY different back then and tbh i loved fortnite years ago it was fun cause the fortnite we try to know but actually don’t know it anymore today is just boring and bland and clunky no excitement about the updates, shops, and seasons

Building was the biggest improvement from the OG days. Anything and everything would turn your builds red so you couldn’t place the piece.
Old fall damage wasnt really ridiculous it was realistically kinda accurate 😊
One time i fell 2 meters and got 76 damage, insane.(it was mountain)

I remember dropping tilted and there was this one chest in one of the towers that you had to break down too and I thought it was a fake chest because it would always disappear when I would break the floor
I started I chapter 5 season 1 which is stupid I know but the good thing about it is that most of the glitches and bugs where ironed out when I started
Back when the game would punish you for these small things, it was hard for everyone. Now that they simplified everything people can get used to it so quickly and have no challenge, a great example is turbo build and turbo editing. Nowdays the players are some pussies and cry about any difficulties in their mechanics. Just make ot challenging for everyone
If you shockwave your friend in a vault you break the vault thingy so you cant open it

OG fortnite you could just land on the side of a mountain no matter the height and take no damage at all I'm talking the first 3 seasons

At least that old fall damage was realistic. I would brake a leg falling off a two story building but Fortnite guys shrug it off.
I forgot we used to lose health sliding down hills. Fall damage was nerfed. One of the best patches

Fall damage has taken my life like a thousand times if I was playing back then I had to quit fortnite due to fall damage
