I usually apply it at night and wash my hair in the morning. But i don't put that much on my hair just a fair amount that won't make it felt too damp. I did great, my hair felt so soft

I have both an aloe vera plant and an aloe vera product from the store (?) And I realized, the plant doesn't dry like the product does. Might have to do with all the stuffs they add to it. So yeah, you might want to try a real aloe vera leaf.
MICH CON I use normal shampoo and conditioner (the Japanese Tsubaki one) and apply the nature republic aloe vera before and after it air dries and it’s AMAZING I had my hair bleached before and it helped so much because other hair products break me out!! Also I only use the shampoo on my roots
Arina Nabilah I leave it on!! Especially in my scalp I rub it in before my hair dries. I also only wash my hair 2~3 times a week which really helps. If it gets a little greasy I just style it😁

priya mydhili the question is can u find any hair product that doesnt contain alcohol? Almost all cosmetic products contain alcohol since it's a very important substance in mixing the ingredients. Ethanol, ethyl, methanol, etc, all of them are forms of alcohol.
Moonlight Rainstorm if you have straight hair alcohol won't bother you but if you gave any curls it will destroy your hair and ruin the curl pattern. I've never seen (or used) a hair product that contains alcohol that aren't relaxers. It's better to be safe than sorry.

You should try using alcohol free aloe vera gel so it wouldn't dry out your hair.

I think it would be best to apply it overnight.. Then wash it the next day. That's how i usually do with virgin coconut oil.. :)
