But I do know that within this one minute clip, his Ben character alternates though humour, seriousness, insightful reflection, authority (to get Callum to lie) sarcasm, genuine friendship (to help Callum come out) and detached cheeriness (to say goodbye). Callum's character has one note, but Ben has a whole melody.
They are just so endgame and unbreakable soulmates. Even back then it was as clear as day as it is now. They will always get through anything and everything together forever and always no matter what happens.
He hasn't lied to anyone. He knows Ben just like Ben knows him thus meaning he knows that he isn't capable of killing anyone unless they mess with him or more specifically his family and if he does anything to anyone who messes with them it's a form of self defense IE.Callum Lexi Lola and Jay etc so he hasn't lied to anyone
