A smart strategy to anyone in the same situation might be to sent an email to the artist (Ren?) saying "THANKS for using the beat! I just wish I'd negotiated royalties!! 😁" . 50/50 chance of "Ren" coming back with "Yeah! thanks for the material, how about we do something in future?" Then, You get not only THAT artist but (In the case of Ren) you're in "The circle" with him recommending you to those he works with..... Oh well...... .

Love your comments. Is he really a producer or a seller of beats? Obviously some are stolen. That is not talent. Ren is talented. He can make his own beats and has done so. Disappointed that others can't support beautiful work with integrity. I'm so satisfied that Ren defended himself with his art.
