Amazing video! Thanks so much for sharing! Mama bears are some of the best mothers on the planet. They do an excellent job caring for their cubs. You're living the life, beautiful scenery and getting to see this bear family in person. Awesome trip!
Thanks so much! 399 is truly a special bear. She's done a great job taking care of her 4 cubs. I've certainly been fortunate to spend time in some beautiful places. It's a joy to be able to share these experiences. Thanks again.
@@jallaldarwiche8480 yeah if you're stupid enough to enter the little personal space they have left. Stay home be a good lil boy and you'll never have to worry about being "eaten alive"
wow that is just spectacular. I have been to Yellowstone many many times and have yet to see a grizzly. We did see a few black bears a a couple years ago.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Don't give up! If you spend enough time in the park, you'll certainly see grizzly bears eventually. Insider Tip: Being at the right place at the right time is sometimes just luck. However, just as you can use Google Map to see traffic jams along your route to work or wherever, you can look for bear jams in Yellowstone NP or Grand Tetons NP using the same technique. I've seen a lot of wildlife using this technique. Good luck!
Lovely. Heard they denned together again. Must be a huge den. 399 is unbelievable. We were there last June but didn't see them Bought the book though. :)
399 is quite a lady! She's done an amazing job raising the cubs. I'm heading back in early June hoping to see her again, which is always the highlight of a trip to the area.
@@keepthemwild4795 I definitely use Google Maps to find wildlife jams (bear, moose, elk, etc.) It has worked many times. It's true that a bear doesn't usually stay in the same place too long. The trick is figuring out which direction the bear will travel and then move down the road in that direction beyond the jam, pull over and wait. Let the bear come to you. I also spend a lot of time driving park roads as well when visiting YNP and GTNP and have been fortunate to spot bears before a jam develops as well. Don't be shy. Talk to other visitors every chance you get and ask them where they have seen wildlife. Often they come back to the same spots if it offers a good food source. Good luck!
@@hoeffka5208 Thanks a lot for the valuable tips. We are heading back to YS this July and will spend a week along northern range. Probably will skip GTNP this time. Have a wonderful trip my friend.
In this video, 399 and kids were moving parallel to Teton Pk Rd (on the west side between 0 and 100 yards off the road-sometimes on the road) between Signal Mt and Mt Moran pullout. During the 2 weeks we were in the park, we saw her near Pilgrim Creek Rd as well. She really gets around a large area rather quickly.
Dagobert, Just trying to share my experience with wild and free 399 and cubs and to celebrate these amazing bears. Bear management is not my area of expertise. With that said, I prefer to hunt bears with my camera and only shoot to document their beauty! Thanks for watching my video.

it's good to show bears in the wild but you never talk about bear hunting in the usa which kills hundreds of bears every year
