When you both mentioned the actual wedding ceremony I was wondering if you were going to include the kitties and put em in tuxes cause that would be super cute lol. Anyway, enjoy your Valentine's date!
I 100% agree YNAB needs sub categories. I separate “clothing” into sub categories because I like to see how much I spend over time on each kid and moving it all around is so annoying
Ooh hearing y'all talk about kitten insurance and your plans for the deductible made me think about the fact that I'm adopting a kitty soon and I *still* can't decide if I think insurance is worth it! Totally agree about the target with a cap, I would LOVE THAT in YNAB. I just turn off / change my targets all the time 😅 Have fun on your Valentine's day date tomorrow!! 😊
With dogs and cats it's probably not. I just set a budget for keeping them comfortable, any major health issues that come up. I will do my best to keep their lives comfortable. You can spend just as much in human healthcare cost to a cat or dog.
I had an ex girlfriend who had a cat have a traumatic accident (a piece of furniture fell on her) and the repair for her leg was over $5k. She was a super young cat and with the repair was going to go on to have a long healthy life, and they had to have some really tough conversations! Thankfully they were able to come up with the money, but I don’t want to ever be put in that situation! If it came down to a long term illness or quality of life things, that would be a whole other situation for us. We use lemonade and pay annually, so it’s less than $12 a month, which is worth it in my opinion.
Did you make the Foster Farms wings from CostCo? Those things are soooo good! They have become a staple in my freezer, I make them in the air fryer and I can't remember the last time I've ordered wings out. Awesome week, I hope the show went well last night 😊While I would love to hear either of those songs because they are both among my favorites, Let's hear it for the boy is one of my all time favorite songs!! (you forgot the 77 cents in her price 😅)
My friend ordered the wings in, but honestly we will probably just make them next year! Ordering a ton of wings on Super Bowl Sunday was.....chaotic, to say the least!! And you're absolutely right....she is worth every penny 🤣
With your Travel category, once you've funded it the full $300, snooze that target and the allocate your money out to your various adventures. I do this with my fun money. I get the full amount, then snooze it, and then allocate it to my personal fun money categories! btw, Valentine's Day is "amateur day" according to my husband, we always have a fondue evening at home and enjoy a fantastic meal with lots of laughs. It has been our tradition for about 10 years now :)
Super Bowl sounded like it was an AWESOME time!! I hear that, unless you’re a fan of the team playing, it’s just a social event lol. For the categories, maybe you could make a weekly group and house -groceries, transportation, food, & booze and keep the rest in life. Since those are things that are purchased on weekly basis. I make all kinds of focus views but mainly only use the underfunded. I usually put transactions for ANYTHING upcoming so it’ll show up in the under funded 😊 I vote for oh what a night ❤ See y’all soon
I did some premarital counseling post maritally. There's great research that it reduces divorce, and anecdotally, it was great for our communication. But yeah, meant to do it before wedding, but that got pushed back to like a year post wedding. Still def worthwhile.
Maybe you could try a target balance without a date to mimic your idea of savings builder with a cap? It will show you how much more you need but I don’t think it goes yellow if there’s no date.

Thank you for watching!!
Yay! Friday video!!! I vote you post both of Shae’s singing videos!
Both?! That would be a long one 😂
I completely agree with the sub-categories idea - or maybe a target for a category group that can be used for all the categories contained therein
Would absolutely change the game!! I submitted it as a feature request a while back, but I’m not holding my breath :(
When you both mentioned the actual wedding ceremony I was wondering if you were going to include the kitties and put em in tuxes cause that would be super cute lol. Anyway, enjoy your Valentine's date!
We wish!!
We are getting married in the woods and I am wayyyyy too nervous to let them be outside 😂
Oh what a night is my vote!
Heard!!
Numb fingers could be carpal tunnel, slipped disk, or probably stopped shoulders from weak muscles pushing a nerve or MS
Specialist thinks likely carpal tunnel, but nerve test is on the 28th! So we will see!
@@justfinance3362 the emg nerve test is useless just a waste of money; you just need to do yoga daily and wear a wrist brace
I 100% agree YNAB needs sub categories. I separate “clothing” into sub categories because I like to see how much I spend over time on each kid and moving it all around is so annoying
Oh man, I didn't even think of how useful it would be for clothing!!
I just want to hear Shae sing!!! Btw... missed you on Tuesday!
We realllyyyy lost the week. It was a wild one. We are going to try to get ahead to try and make sure we don’t miss another one!!

I don’t know why I didn’t think of just snoozing it!!! Such a great idea, thank you!!
And that sounds so lovely :)
love a Frankie valli cover!
Right?!

That’s a great idea!
And yes, we had a blast!!

Glad to hear it is still worthwhile after the fact, just in case we aren’t able to get it done beforehand!
Agree with the capped target amount!!
YNAB, the people have spoken!!
Maybe you could try a target balance without a date to mimic your idea of savings builder with a cap? It will show you how much more you need but I don’t think it goes yellow if there’s no date.
Yeah, those don’t go yellow or count towards your underfunded amount!
Frankie Valli!!!!!
Hope the show was so fun.
The show was a blast, and she did amazing!! I think I'm going to edit together some clips of everything she did!
Ending the video with a killer joke lol😂
Hahaha, thank you so much, I find myself to be absolutely hilarious........Shea does not always agree 🤣
