    I have a video pinball table it’s very cheap in comparison to even some of the better video pins out there but I have the bone busters game on it’s pretty good. It actually looks very similar to this as this particular table spilts opinions.

    I have a bone busters pin and am having some lighting issues. Does anyone know why the backboard lights don't work on startup but if I let it sit long enough it starts the rapid flash. All the bulbs are good but it doesn't light up all the time like the playfield. Only if you let it sit idle long enough

    Hi Todd great video it's always nice to see Gottlieb's appreciated and featured from that era on your channel . I've actually got a problem with my Gottlieb 80b machine at the moment. Everything turns on including the GI on start up but the score display (like the one on Bonebusters) only shows rows of zeros and there's no power to either the start button or red booking keeping button at the coindoor end, have you got any ideas what the problem could be? Kind regards Barry...

      First, take out power supply and reheat solder header pins, tighten screws on regulator, and squirt contact cleaner on 5 volt pot and work it in,...then set the 5 volts right on the logic board. If still no good, and the logic board has 5 volts, the next place to look is the satellite board which is probably ice cold...the issue is to really fix this right, it should be REMOVED from logic board so underside can be reflowed...and then carefully reinstalled...that is what gets tricky--you do not want to damage the traces of the board.

    I would love to see you do a show on restoring a Circus Voltaire. I have seen the bottom of the board when I saw a tape from another who was putting in better speakers and it looks like the ring master assembly might be rough to have to repair.

    • @tntamusements

      Lyle Johnson We bought ten of these when it was closed out, for $2199 each (the game was a huge dud!) I sold the last one in the crate for $3599. I got half of them back from those private home sales and resold, but none of them had any issues with the ringmaster with so few miles. We did get in a few vended Cirqus machines which we had to take the Ringmasters apart and clean them up. Nothing too bad! Haven't had one in our shop in probably over 4 years now. Our videos covering our sales started perhaps 2 1/2 years ago.I guess sooner or later we will get one in!!

    • @lylejohnson1093
      @lylejohnson1093 10 років тому

      I can see why it was a dud. I found a two part video of someone playing Circus Voltaire and in the first part sideshow sam came up and seem to last forever. The sounds it made was so annoying.

    Hi all you pinball lovers.
    I'm working on my 1st restore, which is a Bone Busters. Thought I had the bugs figured out... game starts normal but at some point during play it will release 2 balls instead of one. The switch on the out lane works, the ball is sitting on it, but it still kicks a 2nd ball. I changed the dip switch's to 3 and 5 ball play, tried it in single and multi player, still does it. It's erratic, doesn't do it every time or ever game. Any ideas?

    • @tntamusements
      @tntamusements  9 років тому +1

      Andre Butcher the return grounds on the bottom transformer are all white wires and plug into little boards on the side of the transformer. Take boards off and reflow solder on all the header pins on those boards and also burnish the pins too....those return grounds can cause all sorts of odd issues

    thought the skull had the best colors on it. like something from POTC underwater. which is generally where then end up. they seem to be able to walk underwater better than those who can't breath underwater. :P This one reminds me of Monkey's Island and the skull that keeps talking to the hero? Guy Threepwood? eh gosh haven't played that in forever and oh the bad guy is French. hmmmm Le Chuck?
