What's wrong with STB audio every year?... In the videos it makes the artists' vocals seem bad even though they're not irl... am I the only one thinking this? I mean, I wouldn't think anything of it if it was 1 artist, but it's ALL of them.
I think it's because it's such a big stadium and so they have to fill it up and they want to make the background music/ vocals loud enough but they make them too loud
DizneyLyrix - Lyric Videos i think it's because when you're actually in the audience in such a big venue like that the singer will sound better because of the echoes, kinda similar to how you sound better when you sing in the shower. But in videos the audio is exactly what the mic captures so it would probably pick up even the slightest vocal flaws.
Cathy Pham That's true. But I only notice significantly worse audio with STB. Other live performances are way better, even with similar conditions (arena performances, capacity, etc)
radio 1 BBC always failed with mics when it's live

I was there and the crowd weren't dead. The crowd were sooo loud!! My ears were ringing after he went of stage it was amazing. They mute the crowd a lot otherwise people will be complaining about how you can't hear the artist x

There was a problem with the mic, as there was in a lot of other performances it either was too low in audio or made the singers sound like they don't have talent

There's terrible audio and then there's something actually wrong with your vocal cords, because he wasn't in tune at all. I guarantee my hearing is far superior to yours :)
