I really loved once upon a time. It was my escape from an all too serious world. And I was madly in love with Killian Jones, but that's not important. It was an awesome show, until season 6.

I feel like S7 only starts to get actually interesting around episode 9/10. My main problem with the season was the fact that rumplestilskin becomes the main villain all too suddenly. Also, Henry feels like a different person altogether. I would say though, that S1 is the best.

Season 1, 2, and 3 were by far the best in my opinion, but season 4 I didn’t really like all that much, season 5 was good, season 6 was Ok for me and season 7 was just eh, but at the end of season 7 it started to get good and then I wanted more seasons.
It started to get realllllllly good in 7b and the finale was so well done. Sad it's over. S7b has become my favourite season story despite 7a being my least favourite

I felt they crammed way too much in season 5. Arthur's storyline and Merida's could have easily gotten a season of their own. SO much stuff could have been done with those characters, particularly Guinevere and Lancelot, who I would have loved to see them become regulars. I liked the twist of Dark!hook, but Merlin was killed off WAY too quickly. Like guin and Lance, he should have stayed a regular as well. i MEAN, COME ON. It's Merlin! The actor playing him was great, we'd have seen a wonderful dynamic between Rumple , Merlin and Regina... don't get me started on how things could have gone with the Hyde plot. A man who can't be killed iwth magic, against the most powerful sorcerer in the world...
Once Upon is Time is and will always be my favorite show ever....all the plots and creativity is beyond everything I have seen in television ♥️ my favorite season is season 3 (the same as you) Zelena and Peter Pan were incredible 😍... And my least favorite is season 5 because they kill Robin (it's been three years and I'm still heartbroken 😅) anyway.... with it's ups and downs I love OUAT

I love Once Upon A Time for what it is and I also love ALL of the seasons that it has...even Once Upon A Time in Wonderland. I also just really love fairytales and folklore in general so I was really happy that I was able to watch it. To me, I found that it is one of my most favorite shows/series that I have watched in my lifetime. The fact of bringing the classical fairytales to life made me really happy. I’m a really emotional watcher so every little bit I was crying because I loved it so much and the parts that made me sad gave me the feeling that I was there and experiencing it with them. Not only that, but it fits so perfectly with my types of genres (action/adventure and fantasy). Like I said before, I love it for what it is and I am happy and really grateful for the magical experience that the show gave me. Sorry if the comment is really long, Once Upon A Time just has its own special place in my heart.
I agree with you 100%. All Seasons (except 7) were always great. My only negative is the Sleeping Beauty characters. Maleficent was such a great but wasted character. It was to good see Regina break her depression and come back to her "dragonized" self. Her daughter was good too growing up and meeting Emma while they were teenagers. Her and Emma had much in common. Growing up in our world but decedent of "Fairyland". But then that storyline ended. It would have been nice to see both of them more. Aurora wasn't featured that much either but I believe since her back story was too much like Snow's (sleeping curse) there wasn't much to do with her. S7 seemed pointless and many have reviewed it as bad so I haven't seen it.
WOW - is this like the general opinion of the show? Am I really so different? Honestly I absolutely loved Season 1 2 3 and even 4. The finale of S4 was one of my favorite moments in television. Then Season 5 - terrible. Probably because of how hyped it was. They would release all these DARK EMMA teasers and then Emma was just kinda angsty and thats all. S 1 2 3 4 i would definetly give an A S5 gets a C from me. S6 was... it was there... I wasn't into it... Maybe because of how dissapointed I felt after S5. So S6 is like a B for me. And then I was really suprised to see that S7 was hated. I absoultetly loved it. It brought change - it was fresh. It was exactly what we (I) needed. The story going full circle from Emma to Henry. I loved everything about it. S7 is definitely an A for me.
I have the exact same opinion than you, except that I wouldn't even give a C to season 5, none of plots made sense to me it was all stupid. The only thing I liked (besides the wonderful character of Hades) was Rumple taking the Power back and standing up to his wife, pretty much telling her than he is done with her bullshit and saying "This is who I am.". Besides he didn't owe her anything about the Power, he took it back when she left him (again). Ever since season 5 Emma became completely sickening to me, watching her is suffocating and her and her pirate are what made me want to stop watching the show so many times. But eventually I always kept watching because of Rumple and even Regina. Belle became alike Emma to me during both season 5 and most importantly season 6a.
About the seasons, you're completely right, season 3 was a must, amazing, my favorite. Season 4 was also great, the Shattering episode is one of my favorites of all. Season 5 had missed opportunities, such as Merida-Ruby-Mulan storyline and Ruby and Mulan as a couple for the first LGBTQ+ one in the series (Dorothy and Ruby were not a good one, super rushed and never again talked about). I can't remember a thing about season 6 but Evil Queen and the Black Fairy. It's like season 2, some good elements but unfortunately forgettable. And season 7... Drizella, Gothel and MadArcher (Alice and Robin) saved this season. I watched most episodes bored out of my mind. However, one thing no one can talk bad about is the mid and season finales, always awesome. Always! No matter how bad or confusing the season was, it had a great ending. For me, if they hadn't put the Lucy scene at the s6 finale, that could easily have been the series finale.
Season 2 and 3 are by far the best. After a lot of debate (besides rumple and Regina) I think my favourite villain is zelena. She’s so witty and funny and clever and truly wicked 😂. Her character has a lot of depth too.
Once was the first TV series I ever watched (religiously). It started in 2012, when S1 was availble on Netflix. After a great experience, I started to watch weekly all the rest. I grew up with this show, from my pre-teen years to my young adult years. It has a special place in my heart for it. But I'll have to admit, sometimes it got boring or really confusing and this was definetly not a good thing. But overall, I would still rewatch it and pretend s7 never happened hahahah.
Season 3 is by far my favourite, always have been. It’s Once Upon A Time at its best. Pan and Zelena are two of the best villains. The plot twists are amazing (I’m yet to find another twist as jaw dropping as Pan being Rumple’s dad, never saw that coming). The two arcs make sense and there’s some great character development. We also get to see a lot of different worlds and the mid season finale is pretty much a perfect episode. I also love the finale with Emma & Hook in the past, it’s so fun. I feel like the quality dropped after season 4 (in my opinion) because they were trying to cram in so much. Season 5 had the Dark Swan & Hook plot, Camelot, Merida, Ruby and Mulan were randomly thrown in, the story with Dorothy, and then the Underworld plot too (odd pacing.) The plots of season 5 should’ve covered 2 seasons. Season 6 was the same: Jekyll and Hyde, The Evil Queen, Aladdin, Land of Untold Stories, Wish Realm, Gideon, Black Fairy... there was too much going on. I still really enjoyed the show until it’s end, but I think they were trying to do too much and that wasn’t to the show’s benefit. Season 7 just felt weird, like it was a completely different show. Although, it’s a shame we didn’t get just one more season, because season 7 started to get really good towards the end.
Season 1: AMAZING BEGINNING, graham um, killed off quick Season 2: I like the introduction of Neal and Hook, hate Greg and Tamara. Cora Season 3: love the Peter pan arc, rumple kinda came through near the end. I like how Henry had the heart if the truest believer when he started this whole mess lol Season 4: I didn't think I would like it much since they were dragging frozen into it, the story line was great though, I like the shatter the mirror episode best. Season 5: um, I like the entrance of merlin and the history of the dark ones. Merlin was killed off quick, he could've been useful. I like how even if Emma became the dark one out of love, it still showed her potential for darkness which ties into the whole lily thing. The whole underworld thing, it was cool but, I think it took up too much time. I didn't like Robin or hades death but character development. Season 6: the whole Hyde thing, not a fan. 2 reginas made it intresting though the whole visions thing was eh and Gideon himself was intresting. Black fairy part, hmmm idk how to feel but I didn't hate it I kinda liked it. The way the rumple just killed his mom so simply i found quite stupid because the moment he found out there was trouble he could've just popped out her wand and been sweeping her away into a dustpan in a few minutes. Wish realm ew. I do like the way it ended. If they didn't include the Lucy scene it easily could've been the finale. Season 7: i had issues with this. It was confusing with the time lines and more curses and Henry. Like Robin and Alice went back to storybrooke to get help but hyperion heights is in the future? Because Robin saw baby Robin and it was kinda a mess. Like dr hopper said that Emma and Regina took Henry on a graduation trip. So in the end if Emma is at the coronation. Who's becoming queen? Storybrooke Regina or roni? Wish realm hook was uh no. Whole wish realm was a mess. Hyperion heights it was too different. I hated belles death. Like why. The whole united realms thing was smart and I liked the ending and the whole gothel thing made me dizzy like so confusing. Mulan, Merida and aurora could've been used better Ruby and Dorothy was rushed and wasn't a good relationship What happened to Gideon What happened to the land of untold stories What happened to Emma hook and the rest of the charming The family tree is confusing like Henry is his mom's uncle. Overall show besides season 7: 9.5/10

I loved this show sooooo much and I binged it on Netflix for weeks I remember I was at home during middle school because I’d just injured my ankle and could barely walk I was walking with a cane and I felt cool because of rumplestiltskin and it got trash when Henry grew up
Once upon a time is by far one of my favourite shows the order I would put the seasons in from best to worst is 5,3,6,7,2,4 and then 1. 5 being the best because it had so many twists and it give Emma more of a plot for her character and I felt she needed that. 1 being the worst just because some parts are a bit boring and some bits did annoy me. I used to think 4 was the worst but after re watching it I realised that I didn't really like season 4 just because of Elsa because I really dont like her but the whole second half is really where it makes it better. Season 2,3 and 7 were the saddest seasons for me but had very good plot developed and very good twists and I felt like the show needed season 7 to end on as season 6 did leave a bit of a cliffhanger. Season 6 was really good main because of the whole jackal and hide thing made me so happy to see them 2 in it as I love that story so much. As you can see I'm a really big fan of once upon a time 😊💕
Am I the only one that misses Buffy the Vampire Slayer? I have the entire cast in the form of cats. That's right every single cat I have is named after a buffy character and this show is very reminiscent. I don't think I could have dropped enough cats flesh out the cast from Once Upon a Time though that would be a lot of cat litter.
I absolutely HATED season 7, not because the episodes were bad, but because it took so much from the other seasons and I it was my favorite show so watching them change everything that made it so magical really annoyed me. Season 3 was always easily my favourite because... Peter Pan🤭 (also Mulan and Aurora❤️🥰) and the oddly relatable Zelena😘 I also quite liked season 4 even despite my initial reservations with the whole frozen plot line but I actually kind of liked what they did with it I also liked season 5, mainly because I’m a big fan of both Arthurian legend and Greek myths I found season 6 pretty good and it always managed to keep me guessing (+ musical episode☺️) I quite liked season 7 with Gothel and Ivy and Victoria’s backstory and I actually loved Tilly/Alice and Margot/Robin🥰❤️ I never got to watch Ouat in Wonderland but I’ve seen quite a few clips and I really enjoy the Anastasia/Will storyline and I think they’re really cute🥰
Season 3 is my favourite when the wicked witch arrived in story brooks my favorite character of all time , they put her in season 4 take away the most powerful witch powers and have her in the mental hospital and put her in less. Scenes that was the down fall of once upon a time robin wood was the wrost character ever.
Season 3 episode 11, I love that you gave it all 10/10s. Even though it was in the middle of the season, I would've been totally happy with the story if the series ended there. Of course I am glad it went longer exploring more fairytales and character backstories piecing everything together. I could not stop watching it, even though the latter seasons weren't as great as previous ones.
I have a small question. Maybe a Theory? How much would change, if Rumple never lost his fate as the Savior, which he lost thanks to the Black Fairy. How much would change, what wouldn't be effected. And, how much would it effect the story as we know it?

Danni consider the ending of s7 just the connection that the seer from s1 predicted that the „bad“ henry would be rumples death is just mindblowing to me and really saved the season and just like that is was brilliant ending
S7-E felt like it really could've used an extra season to really get things right, because near the end it started getting pretty good before they had the rug pull from under them.
I just want to say I don't like the fact that in Once Upon a Time Rumpelstiltskin went back and forth with being a good guy bad and being a bad guy and it was like the writers did not know what to do with him it was just annoying
Years ago I watched up until season 4, maybe 5 Im not sure if I stopped because I was up to date or got distracted But recently I rewatched the entire series, and while I enjoy the show overall the last few seasons I had to push myself to get through If I was to suggest someone watch the show I think I'd say watch the first two seasons and let it be (or watch till season 3 and 'let it go' with season 4 bud dum tss) I think your character rating is right that we are invested in all the characters in later seasons but I think it should/could take into consideration character consistency, where characters act less like themselves or fall for the same thing they learned from previously, which makes us care less about them or be frustrated they have gone backwards or 'undeveloped' the character
I actually love season 7, but that may be because I'm a sucker for a time jump and aging forward the main character into the parent/mentor role. I think a B rating makes sense though, it wasn't perfect and to make fully developed characters they would have needed a little more time
As I go further in this video I believe as the story is stated that the Enchanted Forest is just a parallel worlds what alternate dimension in a better sense to where Emma was sent through so the portal that's world is just the other side of another dimension with more mystical properties of The Sims enchantments kings and queens and all that
Cora and Rumple didn't have a son Cora had another daughter who turned out to be the wicked witch of the west. Rumple had a son with belle. Storybook wasn't destroyed in s3.
I still really like this show, but I dropped off in the later end of Season 6. I eventually picked back up, and I’m mostly glad I did. I agree with many that the first three seasons are the best (the Season 3 finale is especially one of my favorites. I also liked Season 4 at the start. But I think my biggest issue, as shallow as it is, was the costumes. One of my favorite details of OUAT was how the costumes were so unique and inspired, yet you could still totally understand which character they portrayed. The Frozen costumes (and the creatures, for that matter) looked like decent cosplay (not great, decent). I also disliked the villainess trio because their story felt reliant on contrivances (characters struggling with crossing a bridge less gorge, then teleporting a much farther distance with ease - of course, maybe they’d always been an issue and I was just noticing). Season 5 I thought worsened the issues. The Brave costumes really didn’t translate well given the heightened design of the source movie. I also was disappointed not seeing Emma’s gradual corruption. And I just kinda lost interest in Belle and Rumple’s on again-off again relationship (at first I thought the issues were natural and gradual, but then it crossed into contrived forced-conflict territory). Season 6 was a saving grace for me. While not as good as the first three, I mostly appreciated the way it wrapped up storylines, such as making Rumpelstiltskin earn back Belle over the course of the entire season , and having Emma and Hook finally marry. I also really like the Musical episode. Season 7 I think worked better if they’d made it the first season of a spinoff. But I still liked the new cast. And Wonderland... meh.
I dont understand why Season 7 gets so much hate… its by far one of my favorite seasons--yes, it focuses on entirely nee characters and a different plot but god was it amazing. The whole arc following New Hook and Alice was beautiful and the whole mess with Mother Gothel and Lady Tremaine, and seeing the narcissistic relationship with her daughter Drizella. The whole investigation between Gold and Hook was so refreshing, oh and the backstories were incredible. I honestly feel that Season 7 was better than Season 3 tbh.
I still don’t get why people don’t like season four. I understand dropping it thinking it was a cash grab but when you actually watch it it is so so good. I love how they made it a theme here that everyone Emma got close to in the real world was from the magical one, like it showing she couldn’t escape her destiny. Season five isn’t great (second worst season) but I recently rewatched it and realized it was not as bad as I thought. Season six is just a fun time. It’s light and bouncy and easily the funniest season while still maintaining a dark plot and some pretty awesome twist and turns. I stopped watching season seven after episode five and then just skipped to the end and watched the finale. There was just so much more story that could have been done in storybrooke, particularly a better story with Henry. My only major critic overall is that the show really underutilized some characters, the problem with having so many, but particularly Henry. I had kinda considered Henry the main character, he is the one tying up the family tree bringing everyone together, and they just never used him. I really hated it when they never explored him as the author much and season seven just gave us a story with a Henry I didn’t know.
I enjoyed watching the whole show but when it comes to rewatches s7 and especially s5 are the hardest for me. Based on your review and my own opinion the rich characters are really the highlight of the show. S7 was rough because they dropped so many beloved characters (personally I missed belle the most but I know lots of people were upset about losing Emma, zelena, and the charmings). Similarly s5 was rife with out of character moments which is why I find it cringeworthy. That being said both seasons do have there high moments (I love s7ep4). I don’t think s4 and s6 were as bad as people say they are but that’s just my opinion
But I loved Detective Rogers he was one of my favorite characters honestly because he literally had no idea what was going on and Weaver was always playing him I know season seven is complicated and everyone hates on it I just finished the show a couple days ago my mom also watch the show and she’s like this Cinderella’s a little Pessimistic so she doesn’t really like it but I don’t understand why everyone doesn’t like that season it’s really good for what it is like the whole Sabin and Drew Plotline is really good
Season 7 was definitely the worst. Not just because I'm such a fan of the original cast, but because it was messy. The storyline effectively ended three times (Ivy's leave, curse breaking and the finale). Many characters were treated poorly. Facilier and Regina had a past, but we didn't see it. We didn't know how and who was awake and at what point they were woken. The main villains disappear for many episodes. People conveniently disappear off-screen to appear several episodes later. People's ages sometimes don't add up and there are plotholes, like the time-travel. Seemingly impossible in season 3 and in season 7 it's even easier than a dark curse. Also, the two different Rumples were confusing, Belle was killed when she could have just stayed in Storybrooke.

I also just really love fairytales and folklore in general so I was really happy that I was able to watch it. To me, I found that it is one of my most favorite shows/series that I have watched in my lifetime. The fact of bringing the classical fairytales to life made me really happy. I’m a really emotional watcher so every little bit I was crying because I loved it so much and the parts that made me sad gave me the feeling that I was there and experiencing it with them. Not only that, but it fits so perfectly with my types of genres (action/adventure and fantasy). Like I said before, I love it for what it is and I am happy and really grateful for the magical experience that the show gave me. Sorry if the comment is really long, Once Upon A Time just has its own special place in my heart.
I agree with you 100%. All Seasons (except 7) were always great. My only negative is the Sleeping Beauty characters. Maleficent was such a great but wasted character. It was to good see Regina break her depression and come back to her "dragonized" self. Her daughter was good too growing up and meeting Emma while they were teenagers. Her and Emma had much in common. Growing up in our world but decedent of "Fairyland". But then that storyline ended. It would have been nice to see both of them more. Aurora wasn't featured that much either but I believe since her back story was too much like Snow's (sleeping curse) there wasn't much to do with her. S7 seemed pointless and many have reviewed it as bad so I haven't seen it.

Honestly I absolutely loved Season 1 2 3 and even 4. The finale of S4 was one of my favorite moments in television.
Then Season 5 - terrible. Probably because of how hyped it was. They would release all these DARK EMMA teasers and then Emma was just kinda angsty and thats all.

I have the exact same opinion than you, except that I wouldn't even give a C to season 5, none of plots made sense to me it was all stupid. The only thing I liked (besides the wonderful character of Hades) was Rumple taking the Power back and standing up to his wife, pretty much telling her than he is done with her bullshit and saying "This is who I am.". Besides he didn't owe her anything about the Power, he took it back when she left him (again).
Ever since season 5 Emma became completely sickening to me, watching her is suffocating and her and her pirate are what made me want to stop watching the show so many times. But eventually I always kept watching because of Rumple and even Regina.
Belle became alike Emma to me during both season 5 and most importantly season 6a.

About the seasons, you're completely right, season 3 was a must, amazing, my favorite. Season 4 was also great, the Shattering episode is one of my favorites of all. Season 5 had missed opportunities, such as Merida-Ruby-Mulan storyline and Ruby and Mulan as a couple for the first LGBTQ+ one in the series (Dorothy and Ruby were not a good one, super rushed and never again talked about). I can't remember a thing about season 6 but Evil Queen and the Black Fairy. It's like season 2, some good elements but unfortunately forgettable. And season 7... Drizella, Gothel and MadArcher (Alice and Robin) saved this season. I watched most episodes bored out of my mind. However, one thing no one can talk bad about is the mid and season finales, always awesome. Always! No matter how bad or confusing the season was, it had a great ending. For me, if they hadn't put the Lucy scene at the s6 finale, that could easily have been the series finale.

Season 2 and 3 are by far the best. After a lot of debate (besides rumple and Regina) I think my favourite villain is zelena. She’s so witty and funny and clever and truly wicked 😂. Her character has a lot of depth too.

Once was the first TV series I ever watched (religiously). It started in 2012, when S1 was availble on Netflix. After a great experience, I started to watch weekly all the rest. I grew up with this show, from my pre-teen years to my young adult years. It has a special place in my heart for it. But I'll have to admit, sometimes it got boring or really confusing and this was definetly not a good thing. But overall, I would still rewatch it and pretend s7 never happened hahahah.
Season 5 had an interesting plot but at some points I found it a bit hard to follow :(

Oh God! Haven is my all time favorite show!
Season 3 is by far my favourite, always have been. It’s Once Upon A Time at its best. Pan and Zelena are two of the best villains. The plot twists are amazing (I’m yet to find another twist as jaw dropping as Pan being Rumple’s dad, never saw that coming). The two arcs make sense and there’s some great character development. We also get to see a lot of different worlds and the mid season finale is pretty much a perfect episode. I also love the finale with Emma & Hook in the past, it’s so fun.
I feel like the quality dropped after season 4 (in my opinion) because they were trying to cram in so much. Season 5 had the Dark Swan & Hook plot, Camelot, Merida, Ruby and Mulan were randomly thrown in, the story with Dorothy, and then the Underworld plot too (odd pacing.) The plots of season 5 should’ve covered 2 seasons.
Season 6 was the same: Jekyll and Hyde, The Evil Queen, Aladdin, Land of Untold Stories, Wish Realm, Gideon, Black Fairy... there was too much going on.
I still really enjoyed the show until it’s end, but I think they were trying to do too much and that wasn’t to the show’s benefit.
Season 7 just felt weird, like it was a completely different show. Although, it’s a shame we didn’t get just one more season, because season 7 started to get really good towards the end.

Season 3: love the Peter pan arc, rumple kinda came through near the end. I like how Henry had the heart if the truest believer when he started this whole mess lol
Season 4: I didn't think I would like it much since they were dragging frozen into it, the story line was great though, I like the shatter the mirror episode best.
Season 5: um, I like the entrance of merlin and the history of the dark ones. Merlin was killed off quick, he could've been useful. I like how even if Emma became the dark one out of love, it still showed her potential for darkness which ties into the whole lily thing. The whole underworld thing, it was cool but, I think it took up too much time. I didn't like Robin or hades death but character development.
Season 6: the whole Hyde thing, not a fan. 2 reginas made it intresting though the whole visions thing was eh and Gideon himself was intresting. Black fairy part, hmmm idk how to feel but I didn't hate it I kinda liked it. The way the rumple just killed his mom so simply i found quite stupid because the moment he found out there was trouble he could've just popped out her wand and been sweeping her away into a dustpan in a few minutes. Wish realm ew. I do like the way it ended. If they didn't include the Lucy scene it easily could've been the finale.
Season 7: i had issues with this. It was confusing with the time lines and more curses and Henry. Like Robin and Alice went back to storybrooke to get help but hyperion heights is in the future? Because Robin saw baby Robin and it was kinda a mess. Like dr hopper said that Emma and Regina took Henry on a graduation trip. So in the end if Emma is at the coronation. Who's becoming queen? Storybrooke Regina or roni? Wish realm hook was uh no. Whole wish realm was a mess. Hyperion heights it was too different. I hated belles death. Like why. The whole united realms thing was smart and I liked the ending and the whole gothel thing made me dizzy like so confusing.

Once upon a time is by far one of my favourite shows the order I would put the seasons in from best to worst is 5,3,6,7,2,4 and then 1. 5 being the best because it had so many twists and it give Emma more of a plot for her character and I felt she needed that. 1 being the worst just because some parts are a bit boring and some bits did annoy me. I used to think 4 was the worst but after re watching it I realised that I didn't really like season 4 just because of Elsa because I really dont like her but the whole second half is really where it makes it better. Season 2,3 and 7 were the saddest seasons for me but had very good plot developed and very good twists and I felt like the show needed season 7 to end on as season 6 did leave a bit of a cliffhanger. Season 6 was really good main because of the whole jackal and hide thing made me so happy to see them 2 in it as I love that story so much. As you can see I'm a really big fan of once upon a time 😊💕

Am I the only one that misses Buffy the Vampire Slayer? I have the entire cast in the form of cats. That's right every single cat I have is named after a buffy character and this show is very reminiscent. I don't think I could have dropped enough cats flesh out the cast from Once Upon a Time though that would be a lot of cat litter.
I would love to see a timeline of the whole show but since that would take forever maybe just a timeline for the Dark Ones
I absolutely HATED season 7, not because the episodes were bad, but because it took so much from the other seasons and I it was my favorite show so watching them change everything that made it so magical really annoyed me. Season 3 is my favourite when the wicked witch arrived in story brooks my favorite character of all time , they put her in season 4 take away the most powerful witch powers and have her in the mental hospital and put her in less. Scenes that was the down fall of once upon a time robin wood was the wrost character ever.

Season 3 episode 11, I love that you gave it all 10/10s. Even though it was in the middle of the season, I would've been totally happy with the story if the series ended there. Of course I am glad it went longer exploring more fairytales and character backstories piecing everything together. I could not stop watching it, even though the latter seasons weren't as great as previous ones.

S7-E felt like it really could've used an extra season to really get things right, because near the end it started getting pretty good before they had the rug pull from under them.

If I was to suggest someone watch the show I think I'd say watch the first two seasons and let it be

I think your character rating is right that we are invested in all the characters in later seasons but I think it should/could take into consideration character consistency, where characters act less like themselves or fall for the same thing they learned from previously, which makes us care less about them or be frustrated they have gone backwards or 'undeveloped' the character

I actually love season 7, but that may be because I'm a sucker for a time jump and aging forward the main character into the parent/mentor role.
I think a B rating makes sense though, it wasn't perfect and to make fully developed characters they would have needed a little more time

As I go further in this video I believe as the story is stated that the Enchanted Forest is just a parallel worlds what alternate dimension in a better sense to where Emma was sent through so the portal that's world is just the other side of another dimension with more mystical properties of The Sims enchantments kings and queens and all that
Cora and Rumple didn't have a son Cora had another daughter who turned out to be the wicked witch of the west. Rumple had a son with belle. Storybook wasn't destroyed in s3.
I still really like this show, but I dropped off in the later end of Season 6. I eventually picked back up, and I’m mostly glad I did.
I agree with many that the first three seasons are the best (the Season 3 finale is especially one of my favorites. I also liked Season 4 at the start. But I think my biggest issue, as shallow as it is, was the costumes. One of my favorite details of OUAT was how the costumes were so unique and inspired, yet you could still totally understand which character they portrayed. The Frozen costumes (and the creatures, for that matter) looked like decent cosplay (not great, decent). I also disliked the villainess trio because their story felt reliant on contrivances (characters struggling with crossing a bridge less gorge, then teleporting a much farther distance with ease - of course, maybe they’d always been an issue and I was just noticing).
Season 5 I thought worsened the issues. The Brave costumes really didn’t translate well given the heightened design of the source movie. I also was disappointed not seeing Emma’s gradual corruption. And I just kinda lost interest in Belle and Rumple’s on again-off again relationship (at first I thought the issues were natural and gradual, but then it crossed into contrived forced-conflict territory).
Season 6 was a saving grace for me. While not as good as the first three, I mostly appreciated the way it wrapped up storylines, such as making Rumpelstiltskin earn back Belle over the course of the entire season , and having Emma and Hook finally marry. I also really like the Musical episode.
Season 7 I think worked better if they’d made it the first season of a spinoff. But I still liked the new cast. And Wonderland... meh.

I dont understand why Season 7 gets so much hate… its by far one of my favorite seasons--yes, it focuses on entirely nee characters and a different plot but god was it amazing. The whole arc following New Hook and Alice was beautiful and the whole mess with Mother Gothel and Lady Tremaine, and seeing the narcissistic relationship with her daughter Drizella. The whole investigation between Gold and Hook was so refreshing, oh and the backstories were incredible. I honestly feel that Season 7 was better than Season 3 tbh.

I still don’t get why people don’t like season four. I understand dropping it thinking it was a cash grab but when you actually watch it it is so so good. I love how they made it a theme here that everyone Emma got close to in the real world was from the magical one, like it showing she couldn’t escape her destiny. Season five isn’t great (second worst season) but I recently rewatched it and realized it was not as bad as I thought. Season six is just a fun time. It’s light and bouncy and easily the funniest season while still maintaining a dark plot and some pretty awesome twist and turns. I stopped watching season seven after episode five and then just skipped to the end and watched the finale. There was just so much more story that could have been done in storybrooke, particularly a better story with Henry.
My only major critic overall is that the show really underutilized some characters, the problem with having so many, but particularly Henry. I had kinda considered Henry the main character, he is the one tying up the family tree bringing everyone together, and they just never used him. I really hated it when they never explored him as the author much and season seven just gave us a story with a Henry I didn’t know.

I enjoyed watching the whole show but when it comes to rewatches s7 and especially s5 are the hardest for me. Based on your review and my own opinion the rich characters are really the highlight of the show. S7 was rough because they dropped so many beloved characters (personally I missed belle the most but I know lots of people were upset about losing Emma, zelena, and the charmings). Similarly s5 was rife with out of character moments which is why I find it cringeworthy. That being said both seasons do have there high moments (I love s7ep4). I don’t think s4 and s6 were as bad as people say they are but that’s just my opinion

Season 7 was definitely the worst. Not just because I'm such a fan of the original cast, but because it was messy. The storyline effectively ended three times (Ivy's leave, curse breaking and the finale). Many characters were treated poorly. Facilier and Regina had a past, but we didn't see it. We didn't know how and who was awake and at what point they were woken. The main villains disappear for many episodes. People conveniently disappear off-screen to appear several episodes later. People's ages sometimes don't add up and there are plotholes, like the time-travel. Seemingly impossible in season 3 and in season 7 it's even easier than a dark curse. Also, the two different Rumples were confusing, Belle was killed when she could have just stayed in Storybrooke.
