The biggest mistake Nepal did was to send it's soldier to Indian service.
Nepal has tradition of man to man fight and honor ,which is very different that the place incident happen where it generally works as dog fight the more people you gather and no honor

He was travelling on duty (carrying some controlled items like NV etc). Some 5-6 ticketless College students misbehaved with his friend, he tried to calm them down. One of them slapped him and Meen sir beat them all.
Later on station, those students called their 50-100 friends who beat him up. He didn't engage further as it could have risked those items (damaged or stolen by the mob)
