Hey Alex..... Have you tried the maybelline's vinyl ink liquid lipsticks? (I hope I have the name right 😊) They say they don't really dry your lips out! I'd love to hear your opinion! ❤️

My favorite makeup product (maybe ever???) is a drugstore primer from Wet n Wild in Glass Correct (Green). It is SO beautiful under basically any foundation or concealer, can be worn alone, and I’ve even mixed or layered it with products like Auric Glowlust. It’s also only $5. I think I’ve repurchased it 3 or 4 times now, so you can tell how much I love it. I also just recently picked up an L.A. Colors Gel Lipliner (in the shade My Favorite Nude) from Walmart for $2 and it lasted for literally 10 hours.

I wear glasses daily… I put some eye primer on the sides of my nose to help any base makeup stay put better… also I bake the area that my glasses sit directly on… it definitely helps when I am wearing a “heavier” base that day 😊

Liking the side by side differences.
    Need more of theses.
Side by side…Maybe warm vs cool tones.
Side by side… Dupes vs original makeup look.
Side by side… powdered makeup vs cream makeup look.
Personally I’m a natural, makeup/ no makeup look. I like dewy BB tented creams, since I have psoriasis/ very dry skin. I’m part Native American, so I have reddish tented skin, that I used to want to cover that… but now I embrace it & my freckles across my nose, and every imperfections I have. 😊

  • @blackrosenuk

I think a "dupe" side-by-side would be fun. I.e., one side with the expensive stuff and the other side with its possible dupe.

👀 Honestly, Alex is the one person I learned the most from. Just practice and practice. Especially if you're just chillin at home or going to the grocery store at first. Listen to her techniques more than worry about exact product. If the video technique doesn't apply to your skin type or whatever, learn something. Always take a lesson and make a notebook of tips. I did & still do. I'm in my mid 40s & started wearing Alex glam style about 4 years ago. 😘😎 I wish I could send you makeup. I have tons now. If I live to 100, I'd still have some good expired makeup! Lol 😉😂

But. Dude. Drugstore make up is just not up to par. If the eyeliner breaks every time that’s not really saving money. The eyeshadows don’t appear pigmented and they don’t look like they blend easily. It looks like despite what you’re saying you’re kind of struggling because of the make up. It’s really nice of you to continue to say positive things.

I am all about the natural base/lip but… with the glam eye!…
Also… if you don’t like the mascara wand… save the wand from an old mascara you do like… clean it really well.. and dip that wand into the mascara you are using 👍
Ps… you have been officially spammed!!! 😳 was just now reading through the comments and reported a bunch of imposter comments claiming to be you!

Would love a video of Pat McGrath looks that are possible to wear out (not to a fancy dinner or night out)just "normal" looks. If that is even possible lol. Feel I use her beautiful palettes way to little! :( And....we need to see your cats more

Question. Why didn't you use the Maybelline powder on your under eye? Does it feel too heavy? Too drying? Cake city? Just curious!

Watching you get mascara on your lid with that Covergirl mascara made me feel so vindicated. It’s my HG because the formula is so good but I get mascara on my eyeshadow every time 😢

Have you tried the EVY face mousse sunscreen? You don't have to reapply again for at least 6 hours! And the can last for years.
