Makes me wish I lived in the UK hearing all the trouble these guys have in the states... Maybe it's gotten better for them since this was recorded, but it's still a shame that such a great group is left unknown to many and looked upon as a support band, and the same goes for the Prodigy.
They're both massive over here (UK), the Prodigy headline festivals and Pendulum headline concerts/second-largest stages. Come over here, it's awesome :)

"Set Me On Fire" were kinda dubstepish same was a minor part in "Salt In The Wounds" But no more than those two, plus Rob and Garreth have their Knife Party side project.

Um, the dubstep should b after the drum and bass, if in the order at all. Line of Succession; DNB, Rock, Australian raggae, electro, then dubstep. and dubstep is a sub-genre of DNB anyway, so lady, GET YOUR SHIT STRAIGHT. IT FUCKIN PENDULUM!

carlmedcikalmar because people find it hard to say "I don't like their new style" instead of saying "their new style is shit". the word "subjective" isn't in their vocabulary. personally I hate One More Light by Linkin Park and I consider it a sell out album in the guise of experimenting, but that's just me, I won't act like my believes are the right ones or the wrong ones. As for Pendulum I pretty much like all their music, your point about their albums however is slightly invalidated by the large number of singles they released before Hold Your Colour, however your other point is mostly spot on, there's a chance they may have taken the more Rock based route to draw in a different crowd but it doesn't feel like they were selling out, I wouldn't consider pendulum sell outs unless they started making songs with the likes of Rihanna or Beyonce, and the closest they got to doing that was when Rob Swire helped produce Rude Boy (but even that was more like a quick buck thing since he was never credited in the song title).
I remember the first time I heard Pendulum and I was sooo diggin it... I enjoyed it so much I wanted to hear more... So I played a like 10 tracks and guess what... THEY ALL SOUNDED THE SAME! Its the same crappy beat over and over with different sounds added like some retarded high school band. So telling LP needs Pendulum is not retarded, its beyond retarded. Most successful and liked band the last 10 years, album of the decay and song the decay. Go top that Pendulum... good luck with that.
