At my dojo that is a Sankyo into a Gokyo into an Ikkyo. I really like their style, always enjoyed watching not only him but Moses Powell what a fantastic martial artist he was.
@Jim Knight you probably cant be on the level of ufc fighters... but you can be a much better fighter than this by taking bjj and muay thai class... this is just basic Japanese jiu jitsu that they are trying to make money from by marketing with a different name. I have a black belt in jjj and bjj and bjj is BY FAR THE BETTER MARTIAL ART.

I have a black belt in both..... bjj is LIGHT YEARS BETTER than jjj… precisely because of the way it is trained.... every practice... live rolling with a person going full on, round after round. jjj is a lot of one steps and "grab my wrist, not that way... this way"... it doesn't stand up to the real deal. Ive done both, and my opinion, based on experience, is that bjj is a million times better... and throw a sparring standup game, like muay thai or boxing and you are set for any situation.... a fight against a person with any training.
