- Hi lovelies, here is what they don't tell you about law schools in Kenya, it's definitely not easy, but as long as you are passionate and doing it for YOU then you can make it. You may not have had the A's, I didn't, but with the GRIT anything is possible.
Been to law school? Let me know what your experience was in the comments.

Thanks for the video Grace.Keep going.Your on the right track.
Here are some tips:
1.Arrange your notes into folders and if possible save them on email or document apps from first year to the end .You will need to refer to them during your Advocates Training Program.Organization is key. It makes your life easy.
2. Build a personal library something I have come to learn now that I am in KSL.Yes, invest in those books and time reading blogs from law firms to update yourself on the law. You don't want to be caught citing old jurisprudence in your arguments. How embarrassing especially when a magistrate points it out in your submissions. To some it's a lack of seriousness.
3.While on attachment be attentive to files placed before you by advocates or judicial officers(magistrates and judges) to handle. Read through the documents take photos of them for future reference. Trust me you will need them. Especially those that involving drafting documents. Ask as many questions and volunteer to help out if you know you are going to gain a skill.
4.Have fun.Visit places in the county your school is located if you can't manage out of town trips.Jump on opportunities where there are school trips put of town to save on money(you can only do this by joining clubs and volunteering in some activities like legal aid).
Come up with a bucket list of things you want to do,events to attend ,things to eat or buy by end of law school, save money then go. Challenge yourself.Don't have an arrested development.
That's it I'm done.

Really great video... 100% on the money. These are things we should have know before joining university. You're doing an amazing job. Keep going.
Thank you love ❤️
Some small advice regarding your video. It is nice that you have a white background. Clean and nice. However, you should improve the lighting slightly and especially when you are wearing dark colors. Finally, you should set the camera slightly higher so that it is in line with your eyes. Most non-professional youtubers either set the camera too high or too low.
Still, your video is neat and provides important information that is presented in a clear and structured way.
Loved the video, so informative

law has always been my passion ...unfortunately I only missed with one point during MY KCSE...
so sorry about this I hope you're enjoying what you are doing
What's the cutoff point for law?
@@jacklinembenge6707 depends with the university and the general KCSE perfomance, If the exams are well perfomed like in the case of 2015 the cluster points were higher as compared to 2016 and also differnt universities have diffent cluster points uon school of law has higher points than moi school of law....generally get a strong B+ and above to increase chances as a govnt sponsoured
@@jacklinembenge6707 Hi the baseline is a C+ and a B in either English or Kiswahili
Hi. Can anyone (without a law background) take the paralegal course offered by KSL?

How hard is if for a person that does job full time?
I know a lot of people who managed by taking evening and weekend classes just allocate time to read as often as you can
And does it matter when on joins a public or private University
Not really in my opinion, just choose an accredited institution
I am done with law school and for sure it drained me, hell on earth experience.
I'm sorry you feel that way
can i talk to you personally please
Am I supposed to także history in highschool ?
Hi no you don't have to I personally studied geography
What are the subjects they check when joining law school?
English and Kiswahili
I want you to explain further..how can we talk privately
