I dunno why no one is talking about the lockscreen missing blur issue. When you lock your screen when you’re on homescreen and try to lift the handle slowly, u can see there’s no blur anymore. Is missing since iOS 17.5.1
I was tempted to update to beta 1 on my main iPhone 15 pm, but decided against it. Beta 2 released and instantly downloaded it, and it Doesn’t even feel like a beta! Barely any bugs, no battery problems, no overheating issues, great! I just want them to improve tinting the Home Screen, and add Apple intelligence.
After I got iOS 18, white dots are popping up all over my screen like it’s like a screen effect or something, it stops, then it happens again idk what’s going on😭 it’s hard to explain but it’s just white dots that’s on the side and top and left and right corners and it fades
My music goes in and out and didn’t have that issue on 18 beta 1 so I had to go to settings and did mono audio and not have spatial music also my speakers on my phone was low the mono audio helped with that also Facebook crashes everytime I try to share a video so many issues

Great finds! The recently deleted album is locked by default. It doesn’t matter if you delete a hidden photo or not. The behavior appears to be the same on iOS 17 as it is on iOS 18.

What i did was update to 18beta 2 then clean restore and now it’s working fine,battery same as 17.6 which is totally fine for me,idk bout bug and glitches because i am not a heavy phone user but ios 18 runs smooth for me
18 Beta 2 is better than Beta 1, but the weird Home Screen bug NEEDS to be fixed now. Also it’s very stupid that in iPadOS 18, you have to press a button just to solve something in Math Notes. I hope it doesn’t come to iOS, I love the ease of solving it for you. Edit: I found a workaround for the Home Screen bug, just turn your iPhone off and on)
Since downloading iOS 18 beta 2, I no longer get new mail. I've deleted the app and reinstalled, but it is still is not working. I'm using an iPhone 15 pro max. Mail does continue to download automatically on my MacBook Pro.
My battery drains at an incredibly fast rate on my iPhone 14 Pro Max since updating to iOS 18 vers 2, went from 100% to 6% in about 6 hours practically just sitting in my pocket and is constantly extremely hot. Before this update I would get about a day and almost a half of battery life. 😢
I would love to see Apple allow us to take away the app names in the small buttons instead of only having this feature with the larger app buttons. Hoping this makes it through to both? Also, as some of get older, it would be nice to see Apple allow users to increase the size of the keyboard without making everything bigger, it allows for quicker typing vs the smaller keyboards standard. Lastly, Apple sports need to be updated badly. It started nicely but they have not added different sports or other news in sports features for your favorites. Thanks

Yea I’m keeping the iOS 18.0 Beta for now, but what I’d really don’t like is when I’m trying to search something and if I search for exact device such as an iPhone 13, for example it still might show other iPhone cameras that you have on your Apple ID so it’s kinda inconvenient

In phones app, it shows optimizing library with a percentage 28% in my iPhone 15 pro max. It says to connect the charger entire night for completing this. Not sure goodness we will get out of this process🤔. At least it could have given us a choice to force to do now while connecting in the day time. Previously I have kept the charger overnight for the Personal voice training feature. Hopefully will try today or tomorrow. Did you Get a chance to see notice this?
I have a question about CarPlay. Is it true I have to have CarPlay connected remotely to access the new features? I’m trying to see if I need to get a new dash cam because I use to connect my CarPlay wirelessly but it disabled my dash cam because I connect my dash cam through WiFi and our phones only have 1 WiFi. So, I connect my CarPlay by plugging it in now. Too many wires running through my car now, but I don’t know what to do. I guess I have to get a new dash cam. Trying to avoid paying a subscription service. Subscription service for everything nowadays.
My phone will rando exit out of an app. The circle will spin like it’s gonna shut down but it just takes me to Home Screen. Same if I press microphone in text box. I’ve already feedbacked
Bluetooth headphones on beta 2 that can pair on two devices at the same time will not prioritize playing on one device that is playing media and will stay on the device which is not actively playing media prompting you to switch manually this is not normal behavior, the moment one device starts playing it should be playing on the headphones, seamless switching but now it’s manual.
I don't understand why stand by mode is only able to be implemented when charging 🤔🤔 I wish apple would just let it go into stand by mode when horizontal , why did they make have to be charging???
It’s designed to be used on a desk or a nightstand when you go to bed. It doesn’t do any harm to just leave it plugged in like that so that’s probably why.
I don’t know if this is new. I notice if you send someone an amount of 25.00. When you tap on it the Apple Pay will come up for you to send that amount.

With new Airpods firmware update the volume increases for 1st 10 seconds of song then goes down lower whether or not I have loud sound reduction toggle on or off. @@zollotech I’m sorry, but I just tested this on my iPhone 14 Pro with iOS 17. I can swipe and type in English and in Portuguese without having to press the globe icon to change the keyboard language and it flawlessly goes between bot languages on the fly

Siri’s voice is oddly much better in Italian than in English yet we still don’t have the “Siri” wake word instead of “hey, Siri”. Weird.

Seems to be working on 17.5.1 on my 12 pro. Looks like it dosn’t start to blur till about 1/3rd the way up the screen.

I think before release every developer will be free to make their own dark mode icon for their respective apps so we shouldn’t worry about that

This iOS can be twitchy on my 15proMax . It restarted itself couple of times while processing links for my research project 🙆🏾♂️

Bilingual keyboard is a bit redundant no? On iOS 17 I can type any language within my keyboards, without actually changing them, and it'll adapt
No, it doesn’t work like that typically. You can type the exact words, but you can’t swipe them typically or do other languages or texts.
