My father said when he was a boy in Kansas if they got 75 bushels per acre they were doing great. In the mid 70s I bought a farm in Kentucky and they told me I could expect about 125 bushels per acre. Things have come along way thanks to Science.
And just like my ancestors in the mountains of Virginia, I'm sure you fine folks in Kentucky know about the science of converting a bushel of course ground corn, a small hopper of cracked rye, and other grain on hand into a portable clear liquid which turns out to be a highly sought after commodity. The wonders of science
it s good that numbers are still the same in america and that 1 is not 2,2. I ve had about enough wit bushels acres and lb's :)))) my calculator is working overtime
Lol funny how he thinks hes a preacher at church trying to get them to repeat back lol I didn't realize that about the two ears on a stalk! Mine had two ears on almost every stalk last year. I thought that was a good thing! They were all pretty long and good size.
A Mexican whos name is Ernesto Cruz is taking his yield to 600 bushels / acre, he has a world record of 880 bushels / acre. Corn population of about 100k plants/ acre
Awesome talk. Thank you.

This went way over their heads but it's incredible information. Thanks for posting this online.

Is this all irrigated corn? Seems like very high populations and yields. Thanks for the video.
100 bu corn used to be good yield and we could make a profit. Now we need 200 bu corn to break even.
