Join me as I delve into the 8 and 16 bit paranormal world of the early Ghostbusters Video Games from the 80s & 90s!
From the earliest Activision game from David 'Pitfall!' Crane to the platformer bust 'em up on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. Even the Atari 2600 got a Ghostbusters II game as late as 1992!
Also, I finally put to bed a 40 year old conundrum: Why was the Ghostbusters logo reversed in Europe?!

I had Ghost Busters on the C64, spent many hours playing that awesome game, I had a budget version of it which had invade a load with it so you could play space invaders as the game loaded lol
I had the budget version too. I played it when I was capturing the footage for the video & still can't get off the first screen on Invade-a-load! 😂

I've just been checking out your Robocop reloaded videos. I'm gonna have to download that as the original Ocean Robocop is one of my favourite games from back in the day! (That & Batman the Movie) 👍🏻
@@RetroOrBust Yes the full GBII levels are there - the Vigo isometric level was tricky to code. RoboCop Classic Reloaded is a nearest pixel for pixel remake with added co-op two player mode.
Really well put together video. I don't have much fondness for the Ghostbusters games sadly. I had the 2600 version of the first one 🙈 I played the demo of level 1 of Ghostbusters II on the Amiga 🙈 I did try and play GBII on the C64 last year and got nowhere with that either ! I do though have GBII with the badge so that is something I guess. Was good to meet you today too 😊👍🐻

@@RetroOrBust Not sure to be honest I have never been to the Blackpool show before. Will have to see a bit closer to the time, I know its a big one. I will def be at Revival in June if you are going to that 😊
@@TheRetroBear Never been to the Revival. There's loads of us tubers that descend on the Norbreck Castle hotel every year. It's an experience, that's for sure!
