@@lexmitchell4402 As a whole its a comparison, metaphors/similes are just the language we use to make the comparison and doesn't really result in any meaningful difference. And even if it's a mix of the two, it doesn't mean the video can't praise it and try to teach you how to replicate it. It's the same way that Mike Tyson uses a variety of punches, but that doesn't mean you can't make a video on how he's the master of the uppercut and then explain steps to replicate it.
These are similes (being late is like a drug), not metaphors (being late is a drug).
He uses both metaphors and similes.
Ex: My drug of choice is being late," & "it's like an amphetamine." So to say metaphor wouldn't be incorrect.
