I honestly learnt a lot from doing this journal. I was late to the July party but did it for August. I just loved using mixed papers to collage together the pages and using coffee washes to bring all the pages together, as I went, really make the whole thing cohesive. I loved it so much I'd made a different September journal but ditched it for another accordion one.I think what I loved the most was that I could experiment with things I wanted to try and didn't worry about bulking it out as it grows as needed without the crocodile mouth thing happening, not that I mind that too much. I'm now torn as to whether to do one for my Christmas journal or try something different, but seeing you go through this again makes me want to do another one for December as I think it could be really cool using up old wrapping paper etc. Oh decisions, decisions! x
