I always saw Ristar as Sega's equivalent to Kirby, so this fits very well.

Ri Star was my favorite world in Kirby 64.
The Ristar soundfont is so soulful.
Legend has it that Ristar hasn't lost a staring contest yet.
If this was an actual romhack of Ristar, I'd play the heck out of it.
It is possible to mod this song into the Sega Genesis. One would convert the VGM into VGM2MID with the right tempo and then sequence it with FL Studio with the MidiDriver. Since both Sonic 1 and Ristar use the same SMPS 68K, it can be modded into Ristar.
Ristar and Kirby would totally be pals.
Also I had this thought of Ristar being in ARMS.

Curious Story: I was in a Hypermarket with my grandmother and inside there was a Pharmacy called "5 Estrelas" (5 Stars in Portuguese) and the Poster Boy was Ristar in a doctor's outfit or something idk. I even took a photo of the moment

I was pretty outdated when it came to gaming systems back then i’m 12 years old and I remember playing this on a Sega genesis this is one of my favorite games I ever played I recently started emulating the game so could finally finish it I got to the fire planet, but then I got stuck on a puzzle

I heard this song three times, first I heard the remix, in srb2 and then this. The cover is just perfect (like everyone else) even though I hardly played ristar, this fits the style of play perfectly. JX must admit, the best genesis is the composer.
