I know this is old news, but I would play the shit out of this. This is the game we should have got instead of 3rdS Online Edition. Recently rewatched Baf's old rant video about that game and he's still right about everything
They probably used the rom/chd file to find the code, deconstruct it, then added things in there by using C or some language. I'm a bit more impressed with them adding moves in because that requires new animation/sprites (I believe).
@@SiincereARC from what i can tell, modding old games often requires knowledge of assembly, which is supposed to be very complicated and unique to different system architectures.
You download the rom or if you get your hands on a board you may be able to hack, then you need to have knowledge in assembler language. It's a monumental task, not an easy undertaking, and not something an average Joe can by simply googling for a tutorial.
I'm confused about this ROM which version is final and from the original creator. I found one called 4rd Strike Arranged Edition dating back to 2013 it even got a green themed character selection screen and U.Sean and Nerfed Gill selectable.
Q80Warlock I'm actually not very clear on that either. I don't know if it's an update to 4rd strike by same person/group, by different person/group, or unaffiliated. I'd guess the middle option.
Hey Bafael, i'm currently looking for this version of 4rd Strike but i keep finding the 2013 Arragend Edition. Do you still have this rom laying aroud somewhere?.
Some other youtuber took note of the rom disappearing and put it up but idr who, I have the rom somewhere but I have arranged edition too and IDK which one is which, nor where it is. Arranged edition is generally more interesting.
I wish someone would just speed up Qs, Remys, Necros, and 12s frame data, Ensure all supers connect if the first hit lands, take away Genei-jin priority, bring back New Generation Sean with 1 Hyper tornado stock, make Chun have a bit more end lag on some moves, extend the amount of time charges are stored just a bit, so charge partitioning is a bit easier, make XCOPY stock a little shorter but last just as long, and thats it, no crazy new ideas, no crazy charecter changes, just mod a balence patch into it I think that would be amazing! :) I would do it but Ive never hacked anything in my life and Idk where to start and I read that CPS3 roms are encrypted so idk how I would go about it, if anyone taught me Id get started tomorrow
Could you PM me the ROM or something? The one I have is a newer version that changed up a lot of the stuff, and I could not find this version to save my life.

Sone nerfs to the system coming from 2i made whole moves situational or useless.
