Thank you so much! I'm seventeen and I'm from Chile so I've never carved a jack-o'-lantern before, but since today it's Halloween i decided to give it a try!
Thank you so much for uploading. I’ve never had had the pleasure of carving one until today, with my 7 yr old. We’re so happy and thankful we can experience this 🎃
The traditions as you are, at least in the personal seem to me important more than anything to preserve them and continue with such beautiful traditions from generation to generation, something that little by little we let pass and our elders do not take into account, but we can change and re-instill you through this knowledge
Awesome DIY Video. I'm looking at doing a Jack-O-Lantern tomorrow. I live in Australia and never carved a Jack-O-Lantern before so this will be my first time trying it. I just hope I can do a good job on it.
Now is the time to be picking out the perfect Pumpkin for carving into some ghoulish design ready for Halloween. Check out my video for a step-by-step guide that gives plain and simple tips and advice when preparing & carving your Jack O'Lantern.
Thats is a good tip for people who will place them on a large plate or tray etc. (Pumpkin juice and the flesh will drain out the bottom opening somewhat)
Evi van Schie Sorry - I do not know for sure... (I never asked the seller) I know this is an edible type. (Made a yummy soup out of all the bits cut out from the eyes and mouth etc) It is not the 'BIGGEST' type as these are rarely much bigger than I show in this video. This Looks like them: www.burpee.com/vegetables/pumpkins/pumpkin-jack-o-lantern-prod000862.html
You are right. But You can dry and then roast and eat the seeds. If you are making a couple at a time, all the off cuts might be enough to make pumpkin soup… ..and, you can throw the spent pumpkin in woods / forests as deers and other wild animals will eat the disposed pumpkin. (remove candles etc)

I love the sound the Pumpkin makes when he takes the lid off...
Me too
And the scraping-out is so satisfying!!!
Same! I like how he stabs the head of the pumpkin , lid taring and scraping though
i'm an English teacher in China, Halloween's coming up next week so i'm gonna teach my Ss how to make these cute lanterns. This is very very helpful!

I always wanted to celebrate Halloween, but in my country it is a taboo, that it is almost prohibited by the Catholic Church and schools.
