- సికింద్రాబాద్‌లోని ఈ బన్సీలాల్‌పేట్‌లో మెట్ల బావిని 18వ శతాబ్దంలో నిర్మించారు. 53 అడుగుల లోతున్న ఈ బావిలో చుట్టూ నడిచేందుకు మండపం, అట్టడుగుకు వెళ్లే వరకూ మెట్లు ఉన్నాయి. ఈ బావిలో 22 లక్షల లీటర్ల నీరు నిల్వ చేసుకోవచ్చు. ఈ బావిని శుభ్రం చేయడానికి అధికారులు కేవలం మహిళల్నే ఎందుకు ఉపయోగించారో తెలుసా?

In our child hood we used to stay in boiguda it's next colony to this bansilal pet people started throwing garbage into this well it was very beautiful and clear water when we used to play around this well the houses came up in Wells open land is all encroachments these people who encroached thrown all garbage and damaged the step well , you people have done great job by bringing the property to the well back, the garbage is from the homes around this well these people throwing garbage from nearby 36 years

there r so many old wells in telangana unused or damaged, one in moulali, puppalguda etc...
clean all wells, these r natural water resourses...great engineered wells

In our colony, Lalapet, H.B.Colony, it was originally called (Thota, garden) a small step well was closed and a small MCH park has been built over it. All this was inside an old fort, where there was a broken down dance hall built probably by the Nizaam's predecessors. Now a Govt Hospital and an Indoor Stadium have replaced the old garden of tamrind trees etc.
