R.I.P to those two. They really were legends of the show, and always will be. (Leonard Fenton 1926-2022 and June Brown 1927-2022). May they reunite and have good times in heaven.
Dr Legg aka Leonard Fenton... RIP. Your character in Eastenders was brilliant. Wish my real life GP was as compassionate and as caring as the soap character that you portrayed with warmth.
Rest In Peace Leonard Fenton (Feinstein). You were a great. I stopped watching EastEnders when Mike Reid (Frank Butcher) died, but I do recall "Dr Legg" being a lovely recurring character. Great Innings at 95, and hope the afterlife is kind.
Awwww bless that should definitely get an award if it doesn't it's a fix!! Beautifully done but absolutely heartbreaking poor Dot :'(:'(:'(:'( R.I.P Dr.Legg you will be missed♥♥♥
Legg was to my knowledge the 5th, yes, 5th (and final) on-screen death that Dot had been present for, the others being Donna Ludlow, Ethel Skinner, Pauline Fowler and prior to this her own son Nick Cotton
This was a heartbreaking scene but in reality, people don't die like this (unless of course they are run over or die in a freak accident). Death is a very gradual process and this was very abrupt indeed.
Ah yes, but asleep with a rattling chest does not make good tv. People do have this moment weeks before, so think of these deaths as those two moments cut together.
I'm happy the actors were able to reunite in heaven in 2022. When you think about it June Brown's character was one of tradgey really, Donna, Ethel, Pauline, Nick, Harold, poor old Dot was present for to my knowledge the death of 5 separate on-screen characters. Hard to see even just 1 and I don't how Dot or indeed June Brown herself managed to cope.
Very true. Moseley cancelled the march because of the threat to law and order. History however tells a different story and bundles the BUF in with hitlers evil bunch.
exactly, I love good old dr legg, but the BUF were largely peaceful. It was left wing socialist agitators that attacked the BUF and they were forced to defend themselves.

June Brown was without a doubt the beating heart of Walford. Such a shame that her send off wasn't as powerful as this one with Dr Legg.
Because she's not dead, she's just in Ireland
@@louissaatkins2308 she is now
@@matthancock260 I know 🥺 so devastating, I agree with this comment now too
June Brown always said, that for as long as she was alive - Dot would never die!. It wouldn’t seem right apparently, strong woman - knocked down
I had the pleasure of working with him in 2005 on a movie. It was just one scene but it was so lovely to meet him.
"Film" it's not America
RIP to a Walford legend.
Leonard Fenton (Dr Legg) has died at the age of 95. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends 😢💔🕊
Never cried so hard 😭♥️

It was great they highlighted this part of history
Probably one of the greatest exits EastEnders has ever done and even better with one of EE'S greatest characters.
Dr. Legg. I am so sorry. 😢
R.I.P two lovely legends from Eastenders
That was a powerful storyline it actually cut me I had tears it really got to me
John yorke has always appreciated and utilised the older cast members well. Same executive that was handled ethel’s death🙌🏻

Farewell Mr Leonard Fenton. 💐 It's such a sad scene! 😢
Loved his character in Eastenders RIP 🤎🤎

This can happen unfortunately x he was dying of cancer which is a slow painful death x that’s why they try make people as comfortable as they can x
Yeah that’s why it’s called a soap opera !

Stuart's racist friends humiliated him.

dot branning... one strong lady
Does anyone know the music used while Dr Legg is talking?
RIP june brown, Rest well🙏🏼🙏🏼
This was a really moving exit for Dr Legg.
I hope he does see Judith again in Heaven (or the Jewish equivalent) 😃😃😃
RIP Leonard Fenton (1926-2022) and June Brown (1927-2022)
Rip June Brown and Leonard Fenton xx
Rip both of you 😭💔
RIP Leonard Fenton
BBC did June Brown dirty. Kept her on contract just doing the absolute bare minimum without any decent storylines. So she ended up leaving.
Rip in real life too
I feel bad for him cause I died I would be sad :(
Night night dr legg
Why did eastenders have to kill him off
The London Property Emperor well he was 92
Rest up in real life
Not the most peaceful death ever is it.
The blackshirts were the ones that got attacked.
