- The original video from 2016 had way better music but unfortunately caused a copyright strike. I could not edit, substitute, or mute parts of the original video. They completely blocked all viewership of the video even for myself so I had to remake it (I didn't save a musicless copy). Sorry the music isn't as great as it was but its what allows me to have this on my channel.
Students Zane Luekenga, Adam Mashiach, and Jacob San Martin planned, designed, pitched, managed, and built this 1915 era board track racer from start to finish. This board track racer was built from scratch all outside of class, with a total of 1600+ hours over a 7 month period.

Everyone wants a board track racer
Beautiful work guys!!!! Ive been wanting to build one but you went all out! Looks SWEET!
The old timers near your college actually had their own little track around 1910 west of Marquette. They called it a funnel. Not competition. Just for fun. Shaw built motorcycles in that area at that time. Galesburg Kansas.
Beautiful
Is that a maytag washing machine engine?
Well done, cool project I hope they had fun building this.
Making the tank out of copper is a good idea even if I don't understand why they put in these rivets.
Great stuff
Y'all did a dam good job building that motorcycle

Super cool build! Thanks for sharing!!!
Trop beau .
Respect 👍👍🇫🇷 félicitations
Awesome! Very beautiful board tracker custom project. I have only one question - why haven't you made fuel crane closer to the carb? To my mind that would have drastically made the fuel pipe shorter and the fuel supply more stable.
What part was the girls bike from the start!??
.....I don't see it at all!
I have a nice scar from an exposed chain like that. First it grabs your pants leg. Then it grabs your ankle. 😵🤕
How does it slow down? are there brakes? Beautiful job! Thanks for sharing.
Que lindo quedo cual motor usaste
Huh, neat looks like a Briggs model y, what kind of speeds did you achieve? I can’t imaging it was much it’s only a 1/2 horse motor stock, if you actually wanted to drive it a non governed carburetor and custom head is pretty much necessary, at least that’s what I did with mine, it’s not a 7000 rpm screamer but it has some nice torque, max is about 2500 rpm, due to it being a dipper motor, good job overall looks nice.
real board track racers were equipped with huge V-Twin engines of the average of 74 cu. in. displacement attaining speeds of over 100 mph ..i doubt if this thing would out run a moped
Super cool build . How did you make the gas throttle ?
Hy. Excuses my English Sir, but in Paris our language is not the same of yours. 😊
What kind of engine did you put on your tracker?
On mine, I put a motobecane 50 cc engine and take 84 kmh speed max.
My next project may be bigger in the same spirit with a fatbike as the frame and wheels.
How mad we are!!! 😂😂😂
See you.
Nice well finished bike. But I gotta ask. Whats with the cheap Ebay motorcycle clock and thermometer?
Why have a radius at bottom of frame the engine is not round like the old engines
Do it actually run ?
PЯӨMӨƧM
this is not a board track racer but a bicycle built from scratch with a single cylinder power produces small low rpm engine ..nice metal art but that's about it !
The geometry is BUTT….the OLD board trackers did not have that HUGE wheelbase.
