The d chord is excellent cause even a step further u can start hammering on/off the d on the d&a in the 3rd fret which is prolly my favorite thing to do with a d chord
I am a beginner and I'm about to pack up my guitar because of this &$%^ D chord!! I just can't get it. :( My fingers are cramping up, I can't spread them out enough, I am leaning on all of the strings. I'm only making noise, not music. I feel like a complete idiot and a failure and starting to wonder if my dream of playing the guitar was ever meant to come true. BUT - I am going to try this method and keep practicing. Maybe it will magically come out of my fingers!!! Thank you.
