Rather than addressing the holes in the Cubs lineup and pitching Jed thought he could replace Ross with Counsell and magically the team would play better, hit better and pitch better. So far this year the starting pictures have pitched better, the offense is nowhere to be found, and the defense is horrible. What's frustrating to me is Counsell shows no sense of urgency. This team looks lifeless.
