Nothin like the sound of a diesel on a cold winter morning

I love the sound of the cranking during hard, cold starts!

ah some of my best memories
Only TRUE MEN find this entertaining 😂
Nothing like the smell of a cold start truck in the morning! Smells like America!!
Hell yeah bud nothin like the good ol smell of diesel in the morning hell yeah!
I wish i can smell all this smokes. Smells amazing
The one person who disliked it, they own a Prius.
Was not me I love diesels
More Like A Damn Tesla Owner- Lmao
Or he has no license
7:08 that old ford idi (it sounded like) starts better than most newer diesels
and sounds good
oh yea idis love the ketchup cold
6.9 idi
I LOVE that second gen at 3:08 it is such a cool paint scheme with the decal
All we need now is Gavin yelling “CoLd StArT”
Definitely something haywire with the first truck! It also appears to have some engine wear as evidenced by the blue exhaust smoke.
Probably those huei injectors, they don't work well in the ice cold
That's ford blue
@@723kwrenn yes sir
that’s just it being a cold old power stroke man
If there isnt snow on the ground its not a cold start....
Just runs like shit.
It can be -40 and just not have snowed recently
cold doesn’t always equal snow buddy
I was just thinking this. While the other comments are also true, some of that grass looks pretty green to me still
The dislikes were from people who blew out their starter 😂
I see a lot of trucks that need tuning
tuned for power not winter 4:56 is my truck
Joseph Freeman half of these trucks aren’t made for cold weather. any diesels gonna have a rough time starting if it’s cold
@@countrycustomsracing1344 diesel trucks hate the cold especially the 7.3 powerstroke

Cold starts when the grass is still green??? Trouble starting maybe poor compression. haha
Jon South just because it’s green doesn’t mean it can’t be single digit outside 🤷♂️
@@matthewpate154 10 thumbs up says your response is doubtful
Jon South No, I have to agree with Mathew. In Michigan we’ve had single digits or negative temps with no snow on the ground.

How can these trucks start that hard when the grass is still green haha
I was thinking the same thing... the trees are green the grass is green and the truck starts like mine does when its minus 10f
Deleted glow plugs or intake heaters
Cummins is the best
Man its so dumb to gas on it when its just started in the cold i have a 01 24v and it fires right up no hesitation at all
I am seeing many truck models all are awesome
I'll stick with a block heater.
But they are older models trucks they are showing
@@bryanjjones4163 they can still have block heaters or even oil pan heaters installed to bypass dry/cold starts
Way to much fuel turned up on alot of these trucks. Black smoke means overload. Extra fuel washes cylinders down=scored liners.

That's why all these pulling and drag trucks dumb more smoke out the exhaust then any of these trucks? It doesn't do shit to anything
Do they have block heaters?
Yep

They do it to smell the smoke come into cab.!.!.! Some people love diesel but some lovvvvvveeee diesel
Sooo you guys know there is other diesels then 7.3 and cummins right ? I mean you want to see i good cold start vid put some 6.2 or 6.5s in there
Blair Mcfaull its cummins or nothin
To bad the military doesnt use a Cummins in any of they light/fast attack vehicles. I mean sure its a great generator engine
