@@seeberg-no That's quite amazing, never heard of this before, since mackerel likes warmer waters...and not 6 degrees fjord water, abundance of food maybe?
@@renevanderhoff7824 The fjords are quite deep and the water tend to have a very stable temperature in the depth so it is easier for the mackrel to go to deeper in the fjord and hunt other fish that go there in the winter. That is because when the water gets warmer again they follow the prey which is usually herring to shallow waters during the summer to early mid autumn.

Hi. This was filmed in early january. The mackerel stay in the fjords all year.
