Brand new to X Wing with my 13 year old son and I greatly appreciate your videos! My wife doesn't like them much because im trying to learn and spend way too much time watching them!
I'm currently running the Bey (deadeye,tail gunner, A. overhaul, R5-D8, munitions failsafe, flechette)/Biggs (R2-D2, integrated astromech)/Dagger (collision detector, plasma torps, Bistan, Ion torps, B-Wing/E2) and found it be a nasty tank build for open play. I'll be excited to try it in a tournament sometime this fall. Rebels have expensive builds for a small number of ships but when you get it right they lay some waste.
The B in BWing stands for "Best fighter bomber in the entire galaxy, suck on these torpedoes Imperials!" I think, I cannot recall the exact wording of it but that's the summary.
I don't have all these models yet, but I have to agree the B wing is iconic. Waiting for my Rebel Aces pack to arrive so looking forward to doing some A-wing / B-wing combo. A wing is I think underrated, true its fragile but it is so manoeuvrable that it can keep at least one of your opponents ship busy, and take a few shields away.
Love the B-Wing. It's my favorite starfighter too. For some reason, though, it always gets nerfed. You see phrases like "ungainly", "prone to mechanical failure", and "terrible in a dogfight". Why? By RoTJ, the B-Wing was the rebellion's most advanced starfighter, and until recently it was billed as being slightly faster and more agile than the Y-Wing. What happened?
I've already acquired 3 for a list using Norra, Shara, and Thane at skill 9, 8, 6 so far its a fun list to play and works best to have Norra up frint with R3 giving an evade. I've debated putting Juke on Norra to really mess with Tie defenders.
Thanks for sharing, im a few month's into the game, and rebel. I love my ghost and arc, but people hate when I fly them. Sometimes I treat the ghost as Biggs and let it take the beating so my other ships can do damage.
I love using Han Builds, find it to be very fun when I play with my brother or friends! Han Solo (Regular) - Push the Limit + Lando + Kanan +Millennium Falcon (old title) + Engine Upgrade
Really enjoyed hearing your reasons why these ships are ordered as you have. I hope you do a Scum and Imp version of these lists. Its hard to list them in a combination of performance in the meta vs enjoyment to use vs looks vs nostalgia for the ships. I tend to use ships in crazy off meta lists, otherwise they'd (upgrades, pilots and ships) never get out the box.

Watches as he praises that ahsoka is in the game back in 1.0. Now in 2020 I'm still waiting for ahsoka to rejoin the rebels. At least I have young ahsoka.
Very interesting #1! I am just about to get a second Ghost, and am glad to hear that a 2 Ghost list is viable... I, too, love the Millennium Falcon, and it is one of the main reasons I got into this game, too! (And Y-Wings...) Given how Han Solo started out, I am hoping that outside of fan art cards/etc., there will eventually be a Scum version of Han (and/or Lando) in the Millennium Falcon. I just played Armada for the first time today, and got my arse handed to me; we played the basic set a friend of mine had, I was rebels, and my CR-90 bit it very early; we didn't get to finish, because we played that while waiting for our scheduled X-Wing opponents to arrive. However, in that, we mopped the floor with our opponents...I flew a Bossk near-fully-loaded Hound's Tooth and "the usual" Fenn Rau, while my friend played Imperials (a TIE F/O, a TIE Special Forces, and a Defender), and we were up against two guys doing Rebels: 3 A-Wings, a B-Wing, an E-Wing, and an Outrider. Not only did I survive, but I took down 3 ships, and still had half of my total hull left on Fenn Rau, and only lost 2 shields on Bossk! As this is only about the third time I've won, I was happy...!
B-Wing and ARC-170! My 2 favorite ships! I wish they would make a generic scum version of The ARC-170. I could see pirates salvaging them in large groups.
An ok list all around, yet I cannot agree with the statement that the Falcon is goof for the begginers. Out of arc shots is the mechanic that runs counter to the idea of the game (i.e. fly better to get better shots) and has been steadily dealt with (like with mobile fire arc, Rey-pilot that promotes good flying etc.). Getting used early to the idea that you can shoot no matter where you fly actually gives you the false idea about the core mechanic of the game and makes you worse, rather than better, pilot. EDIT: And you even say that while discussing ARC :P
Who said B-wings weren't good? Crazy people? I'm a newer player, sure, but much better players in my meta are nuts about it being an AMAZING ship for such a low cost; a sentiment I've seen validated on a LOT of the game's fansites, podcasts and fora. One guy runs nothing but 4 B-wing swarms because he's convinced there is no better ship in the game for its cost. And I've been abusing the hell out of my one B-wing in every build I can squeeze it into. Hell, I need to buy more of them!
A-wing is the hotrod of the rebellion,Episode 8 awings don't look like they have the hyperdrive behind the cockpit,I say that becuz you see the bulk behind the xwing cockpit the y-wing also has that bulk,And episode 1 the hyperdrive isn't that big for the naboo ship looks like it be the same size as the bulk behind the fighters cockpit, we know that not all fighters have hyper drive Look at the orignal vaders tie advance was just a cube behind the sphere before we got the updated one with the half circle So the resistance one I'm not counting to have hyperdrive But the resistance one is a cross between the return of the Jedi the fork in the nose and the tail fins, and teh spearhead awing from rebels the cannons, notice that the return of the Jedi has two small guns on each side, the rebels has a big cannon on each side and the resistance doesn't have the bulk behind the cockpit so yea it's just a cross between the two
I enjoyed the ranking a lot more than most of Cabbok's other videos. I hope the Imperials get one.

I love the ARC-170. In my opinion its number 1. It's like a rebel Firespray.

Retro-Matic Gamer first of all the scurry h6 is the same damage, cheaper, has bombs, and about twice as durable.
The problem is the agility and dial, in a game where you can routinely see 4 modified attack dice 1 agility just isn't going to cut it
