That, and being Canadian, I like not having to pay for healthcare. If healthcare in the States was like it was here, I'd drop everything and move to the States in a second! I love being Canadian but I find the States would be a better place to live.
Stayed there once and enjoyed it. The rooms are very comfortable. Food options are okay. Senor Frog is unappealing. CVS is a plus. I miss the pirate show. The price and location are great.
Stayed at TI a couple of times, although it’s been a few years now. Never had any complaints. The bed was super comfortable and had no issues with cleanliness. Still relatively affordable and a nice location.
Went there exactly 6 days ago, and can share the exact same Jacob's feelings. In my experience, even something to tell you happened: after our check-in, at about 6 pm, we realize that room beside us was occupied from loudy-entusiasthic-party asian guys, so I asked (and got) a room change to a quieter floor. Very good property for budget trips, very good location on the Strip. I'll probably back in the future.
We’ve stayed in TI many times over the years, was always happy with parking, condition, and food choices near by. We now stay off strip due to the resort fees at all strip hotels.
I’ve only been to Vegas twice, and stayed at Treasure Island both times. Loved it! The first time I stayed within the first year after they opened (Steve Wynn). It was the place to be. My brother got married there, and TI did an outstanding job with everything from the ceremony to the photography. The second time, 15 years later it was looking a little warn, and in between the MGM and Ruffin sale. But still clean, and comfortable. The mattress was one of the most comfortable that my wife and I had ever slept on. We loved the location on the strip! Great job with the video Jacob. I’m ready to go back now. Just wish they still had the original pirate show. 👍🏻👍🏻
You positively do the best, most interesting, and thorough hotel and casino overviews and reviews! Very straightforward and informative. Always look forward to your videos, Jacob!
That CVS was a lifesaver. After a full day of gambling and drinking we got a ton of microwavable snacks, Gatorade and water and went back to the venetian across the way. SO much cheaper than raiding the mini bar, hoping to find 2 am pizza to get delivered etc. Absolutely a must-go
@@Peizxcv no youre right we were at the TRUMP that year. Which makes sense since rooms have kitchenettes there. Only a half mile walk or so, not QUITE as close but still not bad whatsoever
I won't do Vegas without renting a car as of like the last 7+ years. Load up the room with water, snacks, shoot I even got deli meat and made sandwiches instead of blowing $15 on a slice and a coke lol. Plus you aren't stuck downtown or on the strip your whole trip you can go check out restaurants off in the neighborhoods, concerts off strip, if you're staying downtown you can still catch s show on strip etc. Once you do a car rental in Vegas you're never going back lol.
I stay at treasure Island all the time, and I think this has been one of the best videos I’ve seen from you in a while, the format, and the layout that you did it. Nice job.
Dude you just keep getting better and better at this. As a small YT product vlogger, you inspire me to keep working on my vlogs and to try new things. Keep up the good work!
I've stayed at Treasure Island several times during COVID and it was a great stay. We stayed in the Tower Suites. It was super cheap at the time. The room was great, but looked a little dated. Having the hot tub was especially nice. The room was ALWAYS clean and comfortable. The location is good. Most the action is across the street though at the Venetian, Harrahs, the Linq, and Flamingo. I'd definitely stay again once prices come back down.
I was just in Vegas and didn't even think that resorts wouldn't have hot tubs but then after I thought about it for a while, I'm not really sure I would go in one unless it was one of the nicer places on the strip.
Treasure island has always been great quality with a good vibe and in a great location. Used to have the BEST pirate show Vegas ever had but still is a quality hotel
Another well done review. Have stayed there a few times. Their petite suite and their corner view rooms are terrific and a true value. Haven’t eaten at redesigned buffet but the prior one was also excellent. Greatest plus is the smaller size everything is right there no long walks. Finally, Mystere show was excellent.
Hubby and I stayed at TI when we renewed our vows for our 10 year anniversary. Gave us a strip view room and free bottle of champagne. Hope to stay there again soon. Just got back from Vegas this past Saturday. Great video as always!!!
I’ve stayed here many times and been happy with the room and my stay. Location is great. There’s a good pizza and pasta place there too. The slots are terrible every time but you can cross the street and go to Wynn or Venetian to gamble.
Stayed at TI right after the US opened up to us in the UK again at the back of 2021 on their "TV deal" where you opt out of things like wifi and the fitness center to avoid resort fees, not a bad deal at all, and I was delighted with my room and the location. CVS is a great feature as you noted to have drinks and snacks on hand in the room . Location was great for the conference center (and Bagelmania, which I love) and I think is ideal if you want to be on the Strip but without the crowding of being truly center Strip. Being northward it's good for getting Downtown on the Deuce too, no waiting in loads of mid-Strip traffic, good selection of locations in the immediate area and easy enough getting to the south end. I'm skeptical on how useful the monorail to Mirage/Hard Rock (it's Mirage until the signs change!) is given how frequent it is and the short distance, someone should do a race video! Plus you have to go to the back of TI for it when a lot of the time you can just exit out the front and cross the street.
Great job Jacob, me and my wife stayed at Treasure Island once, it's a good property nothing fancy, you get what you pay for which is about $50 more than we paid several years ago. The prices on the strip now are obscene for what you used to get pre 2018 etc, it's for youngsters now party party
Stayed here in May, really liked it. FREE parking which is great. Central location is perfect. Room was clean and nice. Loved the fridge where we kept some sodas and snacks. Pool was nice although a little small but the crowd was chill and relaxed. Definitely would go back to TI again.

Treasure Island was the first Vegas hotel I ever stayed at. Back in 1999. The pirate / siren show from the casino was awesome.I had an amazing view of the volcano at the Mirage too. It has a special place in my heart.
Stayed at TI in September 2022, after researching every place on the Strip. The room we had (2Q Suite with a pull-out couch, *2* bathrooms, one with a jacuzzi, the free minifridge, and the free parking) ticked all the boxes and was a relative bargain at $200ish a weeknight. Felt the on-site dining options were a little pricey relative to the room rates, didn't eat at any of them. Very pleasant pool area. The on-site CVS is a huge win. ($17 cocktail? We stay here 5 to 7 days a couple of times a year. Been coming here for nearly 20 years. By using our players card we’ve never had to pay for a room, our rooms always comped. We are not highrollers by any stretch of the imagination, we just like to play slots and video Keno. We love the hotel and casino it has everything you would ever need. The only thing that really disappointing me on the last stay was that the restaurants and Melina’s yogurt hours and times open were very erratic. I was sorry to see the sports book and live Keno be replaced by the food court, and of course canters deli closing, canters deli was a fantastic place to grab a sandwich or snack. We were just there about a month ago had a great time but a word to the wise watch your belongings very closely, my wife had her phone stolen right in front of her eyes by a homeless person, he grabbed it and ran. Security was great with assisting us however all attempts to recover the phone failed. Oh well those things are bound to happen, just be aware of your surroundings at all times and don’t let your guard down. If you stay at treasure island you will not be disappointed!! Can’t wait to get back there!😎
I stayed here year after year in my 20s. Great location, reasonably priced, clean and small enough that if you needed to pop back to your room it took 5min instead of 20mins. Just a shame they lost the flare cocktail bar Kahunaville. It was a little cheesey but the drinks were great and the bar tenders were awesome to watch. This hotel desperately needs some better night life.
Great video Jacob. I’ve never had a bad stay at TI. Pizza place across from Mystere entrance is great. The central bar on the casino floor is a fantastic hang. Hearing you call The Mirage “Hard Rock” brings a tear to my eye 😢
💥 only 1 minute in and you have to get a bigger room next time. That one is nice, although TI has much more to offer. There are 4 or 5 different styles of room and all are nice. Phil has done a good job remodeling the past few years. 👍
I've stayed at Treasure Island many times. It's in a good location, and it is reasonably priced. The rooms are clean, and over the years, it feels like they have been renovated and kept up. I liked that it was close to The Mirage (now the Hard Rock) and the Venetian. No complaints about staying at TI. I wish they still had poker.
I stay at TI regularly and it is very comfortable and convenient. Staff are friendly and lots of different foods to choose from plus it's close by to a lot of other casinos and malls
Lemon Pepper wings at the TI Sports Book - incredible! Also, at check in you can elect to pay $80 upfront for $100 worth of food that can be applied to all restaurants (except the two food court joints). I think you can get a max of two of these $80 for $100 per stay. Great video appreciate the tour of the workout center.
They tried a Gilley's here in Reno, but it did not go over. Las Vegas is much too expensive for my tastes. I much preferred the older version of the city. But that is not ever coming back. I still think everyone should go to Las Vegas to experience it once in their lives.
Haven't stayed at TI but spent lots of time at Seafood Shack/ Mojito Bar (prior to shutdown) unfortunately currently the spot & it's offerings isn't what it used to be. Also enjoyed the pirate ship battle from back in the day. Great property & location!
I love that you've started adding the information about their minimums atnd pay out odds, I had no idea there were still casinos on the Strip that offered 3:2 blackjack!
Treasure Island was the first resort we stayed at for our very first Vegas stay........ It was awesome, this was during the Wynn ownership and the show out front.....😢 Have been there several times after the sale to MGM but just didn't feel the same... Mystere is THE BEST show Cirque has, don't miss it! Great vlog and thanks for taking the time of this forgotten casino
WOW, perfect timing! I'm flying out to Vegas tomorrow for the Beyonce concert and we're staying at Treasure Island. Thanks for the review, this reassures me that I made the right choice! 😅
I stayed in a room, with this exact layout, just a few months ago... super clean, great view of the strip, and super nice! Very impressed with the room and the staff. I paid less than $100 per night. Great video, as always!
TI is now one of the few resorts on the strip with free parking. I went to the Marvels Avengers Station, and its a neat attraction for kids and adults.
Something that I noticed was glaringly missing was a good review/video of the pool and its amenities. I know how hot Vegas is and this should be in any Review.
Jacob, I used to work in the hospitality industry in the front office and front desk. The incidental hold/ authorization is more for if a guest charges anything to the room because any damage done to the room is likely going to be more than the incidental hold.
Totally agree. Thx for the review. We got a very good overall deal at TI. We got an nice view to the strip upgrade by being nice at checking and mentioning it was a [truly] a birthday. Staff was solid, clean, basic, liked the price and location. Good food at Gillies. Cirque Mystere show is awesome. Pool is small but one can very easily take the tram to next door great pools at the Mirage Hard Rock. CVS connected. Overall high marks. Cheers.
I have fond memories of TI. I stayed there in 1994 when it was about 6 months old and I was a college kid. And I had my best ever day playing blackjack there about 20 years ago
it was my girlfriend (fiancé now) first time in Vegas and we booked a petite suite. Best stay ever. His and Her bathroom and the room was big. The only con part is that there is a salt like ocean smell before you enter TI. Otherwise, it was a great stay for $680. the CVS was a plus.
Appreciate the breakdown on table game minimums and corresponding bj payout odds. Optional incidental deposit is very helpful to know, esp. when folks coming in on a tight budget - can make a difference not having to tie up that $100 authorization. Useful info. Closing in on quarter-million subscribers. Earning them, for sure. You’re putting out a consistently good product. Keep ‘em coming. Thanks, man.
It’s gonna be exactly a week from staying at Treasure Island always a amazing time and stay. Always new places to try out. The pasta at Gilleys was so good my wife and I loved it!!! CVS was a lifesaver too! Very budget friendly property. Everyone playing seems to always be in a good time especially the roulette table. Mystere is THE BEST show Cirque has, don't miss it!
Great vlog and thanks for taking the time of this forgotten casino
I have stayed in TI twice. I love the location. it's pretty much in center of the strip and the rooms were spacious and clean. Will stay again !
WOW, perfect timing! I'm flying out to Vegas tomorrow for the Beyonce concert and we're staying at Treasure Island. Thanks for the review, this reassures me that I made the right choice! 😅
You're welcome! I hope you enjoy the trip!
I stayed in a room, with this exact layout, just a few months ago... super clean, great view of the strip, and super nice! Very impressed with the room and the staff. I paid less than $100 per night. Great video, as always!
You were veey sweet with the kiddos 👍🏻
Also that pho place is yummy. They have the best ban mi too
I love those kids at the end, they were so excited.
TI is now one of the few resorts on the strip with free parking. I went to the Marvels Avengers Station, and its a neat attraction for kids and adults.
you can book online under the tv ad offer and resort fees are optional. seafood shack is not bad.
Yumm! Hotel looks nice, too!
Love going to Gilley when I’m in Vegas at treasure island, I am from Texas though
Going in three weeks. This is such a thorough video. Thank you!
Did you like it? Would you stay again?
Something that I noticed was glaringly missing was a good review/video of the pool and its amenities. I know how hot Vegas is and this should be in any Review.
Stayed there on my first trip and had a great time.
Have an amazing weekend! Cheers.
Had dinner last year at the golden circle when I was staying at the mirage, it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t that great.
Cheers.
The shampoo is AWSOME!
Thanks!
You're Welcome Ted! I appreciate the $10!
love all your videos thanks
You're welcome Ted!
You have a great sense of humour through out this video...by the way, great photos.
Great overall video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Me and kids stayed here. I remember the pool and kids having fun.
Wow that is an awesome view from that hotel room 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😎😎😎😎😎😎
GREAT INFORMATIVE VIDEO!👍
Thank you!
LOL....@ 21:56, thought your foot was someone you were with peaking up from the bed. 🤣
Great value hotel. You didn't mention Fashion Show Mall right next door with lots to places to eat and good shopping.
It's good to know that at least one of the big older classic resorts is still doing it right.
So glad to see ya post.. love it here lol....
😀
Appreciate the breakdown on table game minimums and corresponding bj payout odds. Optional incidental deposit is very helpful to know, esp. when folks coming in on a tight budget - can make a difference not having to tie up that $100 authorization. Useful info. Closing in on quarter-million subscribers. Earning them, for sure. You’re putting out a consistently good product. Keep ‘em coming. Thanks, man.
Glad to help! Thank you!
I remember staying there with my family 30 years ago and 10 year old me loved it 😊
Muy buen video 🔥
Well done! Thank you! 😊
Great information
Stayed there 2 times. Totally enjoyed our stay both times.
JACOB YOU FORGOT TO MENTION THE SEAFOOD SHACK VERY GOOD SEAFOOD AND PASTA !!!
Nine dollars for a beer? And then you are supposed to tip? No thanks, I’ll stay in Europe 😂😂😂
Glad you haven’t been to a concert here .$17 for a 25 oz beer
Saaaaaaaame here in Europe they’re like 2.50 somethin like that + no need to tip
I flew over from Australia and stayed there for my bucks party this time last year. Just watching this gives me flashbacks and a hangover 🇦🇺🇦🇺🍻🍻
😄
