0:46 this choir just hits different a choir like this in any apocalyptic setting (to me) gives off the impression like all the people's desperate prayers and pleas for something to save them; a miracle, a hero, whatever you want to call it... it fills me with fighting spirit
@@LostSoulSilver in the beginning it says how the earth defence forces got corrupted by green orange, just like how grapefruit are erasure were, so they were probably allied fighters before
I got confused when I reached this point, but this is what I understand that happened: two possibilities: 1. The pilot was in a simulation that wasn't meant to continue after you destroyed the last boss, and you were sent back to the real world, where the invasion had place and you weren't there when happened. That explains why appeared more powerful enemy units that the ones you previously fought 2. The pilot was sent back in time, but after the invasion took place, you weren't there to stop them, and all the enemie units won and subjugated all the humanity, and they increased the power of their units
wow...i saw your comments from like 1 year ago or something on zeroranger osts and now i see your comment that is from 3 days ago...DANG you must love them so much to come back this often xD
I personally like to think it was a "simulation" or rather a "Hey, you know what? If you go fowards in the future then nobody gets hurt right? They'll think you're dead and You have all your weapons correct? I think you'll manage, if you get back here alive then I'll give up and let you trough to see the boss Kay? Cya!"
@@AlexDimLight Yeah after replaying the game I got the same feeling as you. I guess erasure was kind of testing if the pilot is good enough or not, since if they fail then all goes to shit again
The feeling I got is that Erasure sent the pilot back to the past but slightly forward into the future. That way, the pilot wasn't there to defend against the invasion in time, and all was destroyed.
I like how the music slows down as you realize everything's destroyed, then rises up like a feeling of vengeance.
I remember this comment every time I play that section lol

oh man im getting oranger by the minute
Literally when I got to this point in the game I yelled “DOES THAT MEAN THERE’S AN ARTYPO 2?”
And boy there really was...
Fighting both him and Arc Adder again in the second loop was so hype, even though I died a bunch.
@@hollenwanderer What's the deal with these two anyway? Are they formerly Earth fighters that got corrupted or replicated?
@@LostSoulSilver that could be your headcanon
In reality they are just references to Rtype and gradius

You have now entered the 2nd loop
Stay Ready!
Wait, it can't be?!
This feels familiar...
Incredible music with a triumphant, emotional, heroic intro and ending
That little piano solo near the middle sounds *sooo* good~
This song makes me so happy
The scenery at the start of 2-1 is depressing, though. All that fighting you did, for nearly nothing...

Gives me heavy vibes to the final battle theme of bowsers inside story.
Weird observation but kind of what im thinking
I dunno, was it greenish?
It *might have been.*
Possibly!
I think it was purple.
Maybe it was XXXX, I wouldn’t know I’m fucking blind.
It may as well have been greenish
I don’t get it! They sent us back in time, yet everything’s destroyed?!
