Really stunning Erik. It’s hard to improve a beautiful walnut bowl but the abalone has actually done just that. Also love all the texturing too. Well done and thank you for sharing it with us. Have you ever done a video on texturing?
Thanks Ralph, I support the ALCU because our civil liberties are constantly being tried by large Corporations that continue to abuse workers and individuals. I support the ACLU because if we don't keep an eye on our civil liberties they will be taken from us, so many common laws have already been abused and are no longer in tact. Our current supposed leader is working to dismantle more of our civil liberties so that the largest corporations will come out on top with no competition, aka drain the swamp of competition. Enough about that though. I do not espouse political views here on my channel but since you asked Ralph.
Erik, that is one stunning bowl. The walnut is outstanding, the texturing is perfect, the abalone shell inlay is beautiful, and the finish is outstanding. So why did I give you a thumbs down? It's because of the camera work. The camera movement is almost enough to make me seasick. Please put the camera on a tripod. Hand held just doesn't do it. But still thank you for sharing.
Thanks Glen, I appreciate the suggestion it is just reallyu tough in my little space to setup and I decided rather than not shoot anything I would do a quick handheld and yet it is very jerky and I appoligize. Thank you for leaving a response and giving me creative constructive input!

You are welcome. BTW how did you come by abalone shell. I thought abalone was on the endangered list.
