I stumbled upon your channel today and I am extremely impressed and glad to have done so. Thank you for all you do. I will try to spread the word with my fellow gun users.
Whatever tiny possibility of their accusation is far, FAR outweighed by the invaluable knowledge you share with responsible gun owners. I greatly enjoy every one of your videos, I like your sense of humor a lot, and I greatly admire the skill, thoroughness, and logic you bring to each review. You are performing a very important public service - one that I don't think is really being performed by anyone else. This cannot, and I doubt ever could, be proven, but I firmly believe that you have literally, actually saved lives. And I assert that is not an exaggeration. You have my thanks and respect.
Security by obfuscation is the dumbest thing on the planet when it's the ONLY security measure you have. What you do is an incredible contribution to the gun community, thank you.
Regarding lock picking of handgun safes, the one thing I would still like to see is at least some feedback on how bad the backup key security is for a particular safe. Many of these safes seem to have very basic tubular locks that can be opened in seconds by a slightly motivated teenager with zero lock picking skills who bought a tubular lock pick online. It is impossible to tell from advertising how bad the key lock is, but it should be at least above this minimum level. If a kid wants to learn real lock picking, there's nothing a parent can do about that, and brute force is probably a greater risk anyway.
A few years ago, I stumbled upon a video where someone showcased a safe with a simplex lock, but the housing supposed to protect it has a hole where you can potentially knock the shaft all the way through like on your V-Line Brute video. Is it okay if I share your video to show the flaw?
Appreciate your vids. I have been looking for a gun safe, and you videos have been helpful. I have noticed that none of the biometric safes have been approved by you. I would love you to go on a mission to find a biometric safe that you approve of. Finally, I get that you are tired of brands like Vaultek, but it seems like they amd a couple of others actually improve their products based on feedback from people just like you. It has been a few years since you have tested a Vaultek or similar product. Interested to see if biometric products have closed the door on forced entry efforts.
I no longer have time or money to go looking for good products. I mostly wait to hear about good products, or wait for a company to offer a sample product. And I really, really don't have time or money to revisit products I've looked at multiple times before.
I looked at their newest release, and it's a fail. Since they sent it to me on request, I sent it back. I haven't decided what to do about their products.
I appreciate the content. It is a great idea for people to do their research before they buy a safe. This has helped me save money.
In a lot of these cases, if the thief can't get into the safe, he will just take the safe with him anyway.
I forgot to mention that. Thanks!
It's the same as having a super high security lock on your door, when there's a plain glass window less than a foot from that door.
Like you said, thieves aren't picking locks. A lock is only as strong as the door it's securing. Buy better safes folks

You are doing the public a great service.

Thanks. I'm letting the "F" word through the comment filter this time. Normally, it's set to Stop Potty Mouth.

Sure, go ahead.

@HandgunSafe completely understand.
How's the Secureit review coming along?
I looked at their newest release, and it's a fail. Since they sent it to me on request, I sent it back. I haven't decided what to do about their products.
@@HandgunSafe I think a review would be a public service then, and might encourage them to improve things.
Were you able to get some coupon codes for steelhead lockbox?
Back around Thanksgiving I did pass along a coupon code that was only good for a short while.
Hey you should post more videos on how to break into peoples safes so the average joe robber can get into your belongings :)
