can't wait for whatever his next show is
Incredible interview!!
Open and helpful.
Love it
Is he doing a residency at BFI currently?
Same thought 😂
I think it's natural wanting to give something back at this stage in his career
@@bltr2507absolutely - no criticism intended just so hot on the heels of the Peep Show event you wonder if he bothered going home.
@@Ed-cc7doHe lives in London
Succession should have been 6 seasons.
Dude hasn't written since last time you interviewed him.
Lol my guy has been on the interview circuit for ages now, still basking in the succession glow
How would we be privy to if he’s writing or not? Succession ended 9 months ago, then the writers guild went on strike for 6 months. That show took years & years (about a decade) of research and retooling before it premiered. You don’t just generate a show of that caliber out of thin air.
And honestly he could retire tomorrow and still have a better CV than 99.99% of TV writers. Not just Succession but co-creating Peep Show & Fresh Meat as well as his writing credits on other shows. His IMDb is ridiculous. He has nothing to prove at this point.
do you know how long it takes to develop a project, let alone one of the scale Succession was? and he probably has every major streamer ready to accept whatever terms he'll want at this stage. He's not some first time short filmmaker so that you'd have to point out whether you think he's written or not (he probably writes every day anyway)
So? You haven't written or done anything, but somehow someone still finds you worthy of life.
The guy wrote 4 seasons of the highest level TV drama in years and it only finished airing 9 months ago, I’m sure we can give him a bit of a break for not having anything new ready for production . I bet he’s working on something interesting.
