Occasional Vlog - New Wheels, New Bars, New Burgers

We're in a new car, taking a nice damp walk. Then on Sunday we're checking out the White Hart pub, the Cask Coach House, Free State Kitchen for amazing burgers and then ending the day with the Philharmonic pub and having a look at some Grade 1 listed toilets.

Recommendations, if going wastwater, call in at Cockermouth for a pint in the Bush.
If you go to Cartmel (think Gem mentioned), go to the Brown Cow pub at Dalton…you won’t regret it!

Yeah we're staying near Cartmel. Thanks for the recommendations, not sure what beers we'll be able to have on the road but I'd be interested to get up to Cockermouth

Just got back from the Lakes….one place I 100% recommend is Ambleside Tap Yard, craft beers and amazing pizzas

I'm going to regret having the car on this trip! All the beer recommendations and I can't try them hehe. We usually stay in Windermere so would have probably got the boat up if we were doing the same on this trip.

We went the lakes on honeymoon stayed at wallace lane farm had lodge with hot tub we loved it enjoy have a lovely time

Had a look at that, it looks lovely! Similar sort of thing to what we're staying in by the looks, but we're further South.

Did your cruise ship email you about excursions coz we haven’t heard anything yet about pre booking excursions.

No gem just looked on her booking homepage on the website and the excursions were on there to book.
