@@dark_is_my_tea3946 what a coincidence… I got my piercing done a week ago. Yeah I didn’t even try to do that, I just cleaned it the best I could considering I was in so much pain. It gets better tho like I don’t swivel it but I can clean it a whole lot better without too much pain
You not suppose to move the piercing like that to clean it according to my piercer. I just got mine done today. Ain’t no way I’m using logical thinking and moving my piercing around like that
@@Alkii2393 I know I barely moved it until it was a month old. I’m able to move it now but I don’t move it much when cleaning it to avoid irritation. How’s the healing so far?
this instruction might just be used for a fully healed rook. to a fresh one moving earring arround just irritates the piercing and makes it swell up. we don't have to move the earring during hygiene process. put our piercing under shower can help with crusties for sure. trying to mess with a fresh piercing is not worthy here i think 😢
Hi, thanks for the reply. A healed piercing, it does not require a piercing after care instructions at all. A healed piercing means, the skin is filled with epithelial tissue, and it will not require any after care solution or topical care or moving or twisting the piercing, this practice is not recommended unless you will clean it with the non-cytotoxic solution for chronic wound treatments solutions and the reason is that there is a huge difference in acute wound care treatments instructions and healing time than chronic wound care treatments and healing time (Chronic wound-is a wound that fails to progress healing or respond to treatment over the normal expected healing time frame (4 weeks) and becomes "stuck" in the inflammatory phase because of a foreign body inside your skin). A Piercing on a cartilage it will be considered a non'healing wound for a very extended time period, and it will require a mild non-cytotoxic wound care solution treatments to clean with. Not everyone is the same for some it may hurt doing this for others not so much. I do not recommend cleaning with saline if you already got antibacterial soap cleansing. You never want to over clean/ dry out any piercing. For me, I have learned over cleaning adding saline makes the healing time worse.
@@wh0s.kchroniclesI’m sorry they never responded but I’d say it’s abott it an 7/10 on the pain scale. That being said I have a septum, nostril and had an industrial piercing. I’d say industrial is worse. Rook comes with a lot of sharp pressure and then some throbbing once it’s finished being pierced. Spray with saline and some cotton swabs to help get crusties and any residue it tends to get dirty and itchy as it heals 👍🏽
ok ok guys I thik this vid is demonstrating a post healing cleaning process. do nooot move ur piercing around when it's fresh... and don't use soap either 😭😭

Me too its swollen and all I do is spray sea salt solution on it and never touch it this advice isn’t good for new rooks

Took is just starting to heal. Cute asf but the time it takes to heal. Process is sooo long . And I have piercings ALL over so yes this is the worse
