I used to go involuntary inpatient for bipolar mania a few times a year for 5 years. I believe delusional thinking occurs during mania due to a breakdown of cross brain communication, which builds to psychosis when enough of reality has been replaced with a delusional understanding of it. I stopped having episodes since finding information about split brain research and replacing a religiously deluded perception of myself with a scientific explanation that makes logical sense in conjunction with my spirituality. I believe the effects of mania cause a breakdown of communication across the corpus callosum that impairs the minds ability to reconcile slight to severe differences in belief as mania turns a cohesive experience into competing sides. I have been through a lot. I am different now, but that difference allows a delta of experience that I can use my 20 years of code debugging experience to debug my mind. Find a harmful pathway, set a new intention, rinse, and repeat.
so the EEG, PET, FMRI, and lesion studies are all for the functions of the human brain while the CT, MRI, and autopsies are for the structure of the human brain? is that right?
btw FMRI gives both structure and function cz it's in a sense MRI but it shows bloodflow and tell us abt the function. Overall, what you've said is absolutely right! Good luck!

Question 1: D Question 2: A Question 3: D Question 4: C Question 5: Lesion studies select specific areas in the brain and destroy brain tissue. The purpose is to study brain function by destroying parts of the brain and then studying the brain's activity after the lesioning was done. This can help researchers better understand the different functions of specific brain parts Question 6: A

Won't lesion studies bring ethical problems???
@@XinyangZou That rlly depends but I believe lesioning would be applicable for animals only not humans
