I’m under the impression that this entire strange combination of elements only happened because Diana’s theme song in the Snyder Cut sounds mildly similar to Dune’s main theme.

The production has evolved so much over the years it's insane. This dude has gone so far and he still makes fresh content which simultaneously feels old-school and brings back memories. One of my favourite creators on the whole platform.
First we had “release the Snyder cut” now we have “release the Forest cut” of Dune

As someone who never saw dune i can confirm this is exactly what happened.
This still gives her more personality and understanding of her character than most interpretations of Wonder Woman over the years.
