Ghost was considered a hell of a good soldier. He felt very responsible for getting his platoon killed. But that girl dying in his arms as he desperately tried to save her, to save at least one person in his platoon, she pushed him over the edge. In her last moments, she blamed him for everyone's death. Called him emotionless, careless, and a betrayer. Years after that terrible night, Ghost was consumed by her words, completely guilt-ridden until the end, to the point of what was basically suicide. It's a heartbreaking story.
ghost, one of very few marines to get the spartans treatment, because spartans never die, they just go missing in action, ghost is one of the best marines, not because of skill, knowledge or even his understanding of battle, he is one of the best because he did something very few people truly can, he truly became human, but alas, only for a few minuets
Never saw a more real halo story than this one. Reach is what started everything for me. You want a bit of heaven from hell all you have to do is reach.
This is the main episode that has stuck with me since I first saw it back in 2010 when I was 12 (I got it on release day by random chance, just saw "Halo" and went, "Hey, Mom, can I get this?") I could probably replay the whole thing in my head on demand, but Ghost's final two lines have been audibly burned into my memory, to the point where I've even recognized the voice actor in other work due to this short. "Voice command authorization: Be Human" "And for one last instant... I'm human again." Those words will stick with me until the end of my days. This is what Halo is.
Never valued a woman’s opinion more than this story. Be human is a motto for me to keep pushing. Whatever at the end is worth all the suffering. Ahmen.
@@SpiggsGaming Your reaction was sobering. I dislike reactions. But there needs to be some more live reactions of stories like these. I. Look at this and reach and it makes me believe this war really happened based on the characters.
So, I'm just getting into the lore of the Halo games. Maybe this is the reason there are no prototypes in all the Halo series games, they destroyed everything including the manufacturing data too?
And lastly the suit was equipped with a nuclear device so if it was to self destruct it would do massive damage to the enemy which is why it made such a big explosion

It is heartbreaking. 😭
Its cool that Legends is canon, Except odd ones out.
Would’ve been cool to have a deadpool like spartan
Yeah, that would’ve been cool.

Ghost is pretty awesome! He was an amazing character! I wish we could’ve seen more of him.
@@SpiggsGaming but alas his story is as brief as its end is abrupt
@@_blood_moon_proto_1500 Well said! 😭
@@SpiggsGaming i had a good on for b312 but i can't remember how exactly i worded it..
It's not a sparten it's a prototype suit and regular soldier but someone who lost his humanity and basically regained it
That’s interesting!

Man, that’s deep. Lol
@@alexandervolkov5205 yes exactly

… thank you? Lol
@@alexandervolkov5205thats why I love Halo. It feels real, or well it used to feel real lmao
@blueguy2128 It did feel real! (Still does, to me)
I heard a while back that someone was maybe thinking about making a game from each one of these HALO mini movies.
Oh wow, that would be awesome! This mini series is so good!
I'd kill for a horde shooter that puts you in the Prototype suit.
*BE HUMAN*
Hey got Spartan death honors because Spartans don’t die they are MIA.
So, I'm just getting into the lore of the Halo games. Maybe this is the reason there are no prototypes in all the Halo series games, they destroyed everything including the manufacturing data too?
Correct… and enjoy learning more lore!
Maybe you should play the fallout series if you haven't already, specifically 3, new Vegas and 4, I fell that you would really like them.
I’ve heard of them, but I’ve never played them… I’ll check them out, thank you!
This isn't origins 1 episode it's be human episode i think the 7th episode
And that wasn't a spartan suit like the mantis in halo 4
And lastly the suit was equipped with a nuclear device so if it was to self destruct it would do massive damage to the enemy which is why it made such a big explosion
@@kingseb2252 Well shoot… I was following what I saw on YT.
And thanks for the info! 😊
Yeah it's easy to find but you can look ot up on google i think
@@kingseb2252 Thanks for the tip! I’ll check it out
I rarely see legends get any respect, I think you're the one I've seen cry at prototype.
I seriously don’t see how… I loved it! (And it was incredibly sad. 🥺)
