I’m also going through a breakup right now. We were together for 2 years and I genuinely thought I was going to be with him forever. It was one of those breakups where we didn’t want to but had to. Sometimes the clean breakups are the hardest ones to heal from. I did the exact same thing acting it was a break and it’s completely normal. It’s nice to know I’m not alone❤

My ex just broke up with me because not only did he say he was dealing with personal family and social issues, he just wasn't really ready for a relationship. The thing that was so hard to get over was that he said he never felt anything between us. So all of the compliments, hugs, little touches, every single I love you was fake and he lied to me. He did it all so he wouldn't upset me. I know it's not the same situation as you, and you guys were great together, but I love you so much and this actually makes me feel so much better and less alone to know how to focus better on myself.

Hi Jenna! I’ve been watching your channel for a little while. You have handled everything in a very mature way, and I can say we all love to hear from you. I’ve been with my high school sweetheart for five and a half years, and it has not been a fairytale. We have been through times where things began to felt different, and we drifted, and we weren’t sure what to do. Every couple handles those moments differently, and in the end, you have done the best you’ve known how to in a new season, and that is so admirable. God will work with whatever happens in your life, and whatever choices you make. I truly believe that you will find so much inner strength in the other side of this, and God will show you why everything has happened. It will all begin to come together. I think that not enough people discuss these kinds of moments and feelings, and whether a couple stays or steps away, just remember that change is constant and SO normal, especially when we are just coming into our 20s (I just turned 21 back in December). Every person who will enter your life will walk a phase of your life with you. Embrace the change, and stay positive girl. Don’t worry about comparing to others, and trust yourself. I'm so glad that you are getting back in your word and I'm so proud of you for whoever made the step because sometimes it's better to see how the Lord works in you guys separately and if He even wants Will to be your husband anyways. It is tough but you can handle this. I broke up with the love of my life about 9 months ago and I was such a trainwreck for so long because I wanted to marry him, did think about kids but his character and morals were not what I wanted in my life. He was such a sweet boy but I don't think wanted marriage at all. It was very heartbreaking but I am on the other side now, never though I would say that but wanted to, so you know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I love your vulnerability and strength. I’m also going through a breakup right now. We were together for 2 years and I genuinely thought I was going to be with him forever. It was one of those breakups where we didn’t want to but had to. My ex just broke up with me because not only did he say he was dealing with personal family and social issues, he just wasn't really ready for a relationship. The thing that was so hard to get over was that he said he never felt anything between us. So all of the compliments, hugs, little touches, every single I love you was fake and he lied to me. He did it all so he wouldn't upset me. I know it's not the same situation as you, and you guys were great together, but I love you so much and this actually makes me feel so much better and less alone to know how to focus better on myself.

Hi Jenna! I’ve been watching your channel for a little while. You have handled everything in a very mature way, and I can say we all love to hear from you. I’ve been with my high school sweetheart for five and a half years, and it has not been a fairytale. We have been through times where things began to felt different, and we drifted, and we weren’t sure what to do. Every couple handles those moments differently, and in the end, you have done the best you’ve known how to in a new season, and that is so admirable. God will work with whatever happens in your life, and whatever choices you make. I truly believe that you will find so much inner strength in the other side of this, and God will show you why everything has happened. It will all begin to come together. I think that not enough people discuss these kinds of moments and feelings, and whether a couple stays or steps away, just remember that change is constant and SO normal, especially when we are just coming into our 20s (I just turned 21 back in December). Posting it doesn't matter, the healing process does. I'm so glad that you are getting back in your word and I'm so proud of you for whoever made the step because sometimes it's better to see how the Lord works in you guys separately and if He even wants Will to be your husband anyways. It is tough but you can handle this. I broke up with the love of my life about 9 months ago and I was such a trainwreck for so long because I wanted to marry him, did think about kids but his character and morals were not what I wanted in my life. He was such a sweet boy but I don't think wanted marriage at all. It was very heartbreaking but I am on the other side now, never though I would say that but wanted to, so you know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I love your vulnerability and strength. Keep showing yourself that you are worthy to be loved and laughed with because God says you are. I love you tons Jenna and hope to see you continue to be happy in your single season. It wont be forever let me just remind you of that, God has a plan.

Just got out of a 5 year relationship and I’ve been going through very similar stuff and I’m in nursing school so it’s been very tough and my grades suffered for a bit last semester. I’m saying I’m doing better now and I am, but like you said of course it’s been so tough and I miss the way my life was sometimes I grieve it even.

To be honest Jenna I hope your reading this. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Just go with the flow girl. We’re always so easy to judge ourselves but as a person looking in from the outside your an IT GIRL. I love hearing you talk and rant. It’s like a “get to know me” type of thing.
