The discussion of tips in this episode reminded me of something that happened when I was in High School. My mom worked at an accounting office and answered her phone while driving, she talks quite fast when she puts her business persona on. The call was from a client that owned multiple businesses and had just bought a bar so he was calling about what information she would need for taxes. I was only hearing her end as she was running through the multiple things she would need to know when she said "Oh and the bartender, will she be showing her tips?" and it sure didn't sound like "tips" to me with how fast she said it. There was then a pause and then she repeated "Her tips will she show her tips....with a P" and I cracked up laughing from the guy having the same confusion I did.

This went in a wildly different direction than I was expecting. With your mom being a accountant, I was expecting the owner was gonna try to pass the waiting staff tips as income or something like that =P
I think this is my favourite kitchen nightmare episode.
Oh yeah by the way, those cakes were very much store bought, she confessed to it on a Facebook rant years ago.

Well. I mean it's not wrong technically. All Gordon's show did was put her business on the spotlight for all to see just how shit they are lol. Due keep in mind they did ask for it as they submitted a video asking for Gordon's help so they have no legal recourse to take against Gordon's show lol

It’s crazy that Stanz, CEO of Twitch’s Uk Reaction-Content Division, has yet to bank «Kitchen Nightmares UK».
I’m not going to say that it’s definitely better, it’s maybe because I’m a boomer, but it doesn’t have as many audio stings. By that I mean, it doesn’t literally sound like they scored an ‘end of the season’ battle scene from Vikings.
I feel that by season 6 of Kitchen Nightmares, Ramsay could see a slice of moldy cheese in the back-end corner of a walk-in freezer, and in response call a swat team to quarantine the entire neighbourhood. It’s still addictive, but can get a bit tiring.

There truly is nothing like "punching over your league". Sure, there are general beauty standards, denying that would be mental. But when it comes to finding a partner, looks really aren't so deciding that you can make comments like that. First of all people have different tastes so perhaps she thinks he looks great. Second of all personality and interests may weight more. (Not his personality, it is crap, mind you)
