Thank you. Iam glad you like the video. The screws and threads for them are very bad on this pistol. The front screw holding the barrel didnt thread at all. I had to drill and tapp new threads, and it still dont hold it well. I dont want to open it again because the hole screw assembly holding the parts together might fail totaly. Hey brother. Yes the detent must be removed from the old barrel and put on the new barrel. Its just puled off and pushed on. Very easy. Cheers brother.

Very impressive guns although I’m from England so might have trouble getting them over here. I notice that you have hands like me my friend, I have rheumatoid arthritis and have had my buckles removed in my right hand, I find mixing a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda (not the baking soda) with water in the morning a great help at neutralising the painful acids and especially if I’m going to be enjoying a few beers, hope this helps my friend!
I have seen the recommendation for copper pipe before and wonder about the value as type K is .527" or roughly 11% of the copper barrel is empty clearance space. A lot of room for the CO2 to pass the projectile. Then again .49 ammo in a .50 barrel is about 4% clearance space.
You have the hdr50, hdp50 and hds68. I think a comparison of all three would be really good. Interested to see which one you like the most and why. Maybe you can do a video on it. Loving your videos!

@@H-M-78 its a 2 piece because when you buy the tuning run , run is the barrel , you get the replacement for stock barrel .it comes threaded and comes with a thread protector cap . the other piece is another barrel extension you can screw onto the first barrel piece , in air powered weapons , longer barrel give a little extra power and accuracy !!! if you wanted to carry in a holster or something it gives you the option to carry it with a shorter barrel . with these barrel from HOME DEFENCE - 24 , you can add more ext.barrel called sniper extensions to make the barrel as long as you want turning this and other pistols into carbines and rifles !!! the reason you want this barrel because its a little smaller bore and utilizes all the air to push projectiles out when shot without loosing any air . the projectiles fit barrel better than they do in factory barrels , thats why you cant shoot 12.7 steel ball any longer ,you must use 12.5 to 12.65mm from now on !!!

@@runerebel8441 sorry the issue is where the ammo slugs are held. That holder moves freely it is not fixed in place so ammo carriage doesn't feed correctly.

Yes. If you have the 7,5 joule version. If you have the 11 joule version its allreaddy at it max. No rifled barrels for it yet. But the longer tuning barrel I put in will give more power than if you use the stock barrel.
Hi Angelo. Do you mean the restrictor? I made one from the tip of a used CO2 canister. The diameter is ust over 11mm. I think it is ca 11,2mm. Make it a bit larger and trim down if needed ;) Greetings :)

@@runerebel8441 I know right! I was watching an Englishman shoot down a fairly long hallway with a HDP using 12.7mm ball bearings. He gnawed a hole through the center of what appeared to be 3/4in particle board, that looked like it had been hit by a load of 00 buck from the exact same distance.
I dont understand why shots in the area 's of low 400's are jules in the 30's but later its reading other shots at high 400's at 11.5 jules,....i wish someone could explain this to where it solves this easy to understand mystery,......by how you have it this means my stock orange top HDP at 375FPS is 16 to 25 jules and my other DPMS platforms at 430 to 490FPS is what then? 11.5 by you chrony results,....just confusing,........isnt jules just the metric word for FPS? does anyone know their shit enough on this to say it without all the guesswork? only the man himself,...the Rune ,......could answer this so everyone can get this.
Good question. It all has to do with the weight of the ammo and the speed they fly. A lightweight ammo will generate less energy than aheavy weight ammo. So when you know the weight of the ammo and how fast it flys, then you can calculate the energy it gives 😃

I Like the Looks of that HDP50. I have the Umarex TR50 .50 cal Love that Revolver Marker, and the ability to shoot custom Slugs out of it, it make the Revolver a special Multi use gun for me. I also have a Few .68 Cal Markers, Like the Tiberius T8.1 pistol and Tippmann TipX pistol, and Tippman Cronus. The Cronus, and Tipx Pistol can Share Barrels, I have a stock TCR 12" barrel that fits Both my Tippman guns and also a 16 inch sniper tighter fitting Barrel bore that also fits both guns. I have watched several videos of High Power Markers in both 50 cal. and .68 cal. shooting into Ballistic gel to see Both "Shock Wave Damage" and "Penetration with the added Shockwave Damage" as a result of the of and depth penetration of the shot into the gel. If you take the same Power level between both .50 cal and .68 cal say 20 joules, the Larger Caliber will be more destructive to the gel every time as there is more impact Surface area, causing More "Shock Wave Damage" that is both Deeper, and Wider over a Larger area of the Gel Block. This Major Impact Vibrational Wave over a Much Larger area is greatly increased by the Larger Caliber. I am Not sure where the Impact and SHOCK Wave Damage Trade off is between the .50 cal and .68 cal is , the 50 cal would need to have more energy on target to equal what the .68 cal can do at a lower energy level, when it comes to destructive power on a Gel block. The next consideration is Shot Range to Target, How Much Velocity and Power is Lost between the two calibers over the Shot Range to target. If we are talking about a Indoor range say 20 feet or maybe up to say 50 feet. it would be interest to have a Chronograph that reads both Muzzle speed and Target speed, those are a little expensive though.
Hi. Yes its a very cool looking pistol, but I find it fiddly to work on. I like the HDR more. And as you say it can shot slugs also :) The cal 68 has more mass and carry more energy over distance than the smaller calibers. But I done know how much more. I collect these markers, and only do chrony testing etc. As for home defense they are better than nothing I guess. Having a knife or simmilar object as a backup might be a good idea :)
These are for creating a distraction while you flee. Don't expect to stop anyone with any of those. I don't know if I trust that "homemade ballistics gel" video.

Thanks Joe. The muzzleloading is just a way so I can test power useing slugs. Yes you can use this barrel on the 7,5 joule version too :)

Good question. It all has to do with the weight of the ammo and the speed they fly. A lightweight ammo will generate less energy than aheavy weight ammo. So when you know the weight of the ammo and how fast it flys, then you can calculate the energy it gives 😃

I Like the Looks of that HDP50. I have the Umarex TR50 .50 cal Love that Revolver Marker, and the ability to shoot custom Slugs out of it, it make the Revolver a special Multi use gun for me. I also have a Few .68 Cal Markers, Like the Tiberius T8.1 pistol and Tippmann TipX pistol, and Tippman Cronus. The Cronus, and Tipx Pistol can Share Barrels, I have a stock TCR 12" barrel that fits Both my Tippman guns and also a 16 inch sniper tighter fitting Barrel bore that also fits both guns. I have watched several videos of High Power Markers in both 50 cal. and .68 cal. shooting into Ballistic gel to see Both "Shock Wave Damage" and "Penetration with the added Shockwave Damage" as a result of the of and depth penetration of the shot into the gel. If you take the same Power level between both .50 cal and .68 cal say 20 joules, the Larger Caliber will be more destructive to the gel every time as there is more impact Surface area, causing More "Shock Wave Damage" that is both Deeper, and Wider over a Larger area of the Gel Block. This Major Impact Vibrational Wave over a Much Larger area is greatly increased by the Larger Caliber. I am Not sure where the Impact and SHOCK Wave Damage Trade off is between the .50 cal and .68 cal is , the 50 cal would need to have more energy on target to equal what the .68 cal can do at a lower energy level, when it comes to destructive power on a Gel block. The next consideration is Shot Range to Target, How Much Velocity and Power is Lost between the two calibers over the Shot Range to target. If we are talking about a Indoor range say 20 feet or maybe up to say 50 feet. it would be interest to have a Chronograph that reads both Muzzle speed and Target speed, those are a little expensive though.
Hi. Yes its a very cool looking pistol, but I find it fiddly to work on. I like the HDR more. And as you say it can shot slugs also :) The cal 68 has more mass and carry more energy over distance than the smaller calibers. But I done know how much more. I collect these markers, and only do chrony testing etc. As for home defense they are better than nothing I guess. Having a knife or simmilar object as a backup might be a good idea :)
These are for creating a distraction while you flee.
Don't expect to stop anyone with any of those.
