Very cool. There is definitely a lot of West Virginians, like myself that have moved to Roanoke over the years. I graduated from Marshall University. Thanks for watching!
I love that hike, especially when the rhododendrons are in bloom. Did you make it to the Gorge waterfall? The Gorge waterfall is the head waters of the south section of the Roanoke River. Thanks for taking us along. 👣
Thanks Walt. For taking us with you. The History is very cool. Keep getting better Brother. I walk every day. Retired now. Wife passed a few years ago.
Just got home from work and having some dinner. Grilled wings. Seems like the perfect meal to go with some Frontiersman Bigfoot video. Let's watch and eat. Cheers! Keep it Squatchy! So close to 5000 SUBS!
Walt, every time you went down a path, I said to Jeremy, why is he doing that, he is going to meet up with a Bigfoot or a bear and he is all alone. I was scared for you. Very cool video though! I was on the edge of my seat. 👍🏻
Thanks for watching and being concerned about me. I did bring my knife with me, and a big walking stick. I am used to being in the woods alone, because it really makes you be aware of your surroundings. Take Care!
You're brave going there that late in the afternoon, and with the leaves still on the trees. I'm going back there during hunting season. Maybe they'll be hanging out, avoiding the hunters. The Amish women were there last time I visited also.
I never leave home without a weapon, pistol etc. especially out in the woods alone. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Keep on searchin'.
Well, no one knows for sure, but I think its for 2 reasons: To tell you not to enter into this area, and/or as a sign to other bigfoot that they are heading in the right direction. There is a pretty big creek close by that they might be giving directions to. Not sure, but many bigfoot researchers think seeing an X made from tree limbs or trunks is a sign they are in that area.
You need to go back up there with a leaf blower and clean that area up a little. I am sure the family would appreciate it. Plus the spirits might guide you to bigfoot as your reward. Heavy steps could be a black bear. Don't go in there.
It definitely needs to be cleaned up. Not sure if the forest service would be pleased, but that area seriously needs to be cleaned up. I think boy Scout groups sometimes come and do work on the trails and camp out. Bears generally walk very softly. I have been up close to many bears in the woods and they can run and barely make a sound. It is crazy. I am definitely not sure what it was, though.
Interesting video, Walt. Both for t Bigfoot content, and the old cemetery. There are many quite old semi-forgotten burial grounds my own area.
Thanks so much! Take Care!
My father was from Charleston W.Va. but grew up in Roanoke VA. Where I grew up also.

That was a fun hike. Thank you for sharing. It was sad to see that cemetery in that condition.
Thanks for watching, and yes, pretty sad.
Cool Area and it looks Squatchy 🤘🏼

I agree! Thanks so much for watching!
Good video, that was an interesting twist, that you came upon an old cemetery like that in hidden in woods and lost in time.
@@jagman3377 - Thank you so much! It was definitely awesome to have seen that cemetery. Take Care
Very Interesting would love to clean that graveyard up we are part of Virginia C.E.R.T.

It is definitely a good place for them to hang out during hunting season. It is a beautiful area, but quite mysterious as well.

Thanks and I agree!
I got a spot north of the James that I call the Woodbooger Range, they definitely live there like many places in the Virginia mountains
Absolutely! Thanks for watching!
Good video Walt and why is it Big Foots make “x”s?

That’s some good evidence brother I’m not saying it’s a Sasquatch it’s just some big ass tracks and there definitely tracks.
I agree! Thanks so much for watching! Take Care.
Maybe the ladies abandoned a baby
Nah, it could have been a deer, or some other animal
Hopefully that wasn’t a baby abandoned because the baby would of died by now
Definitely not an abandoned baby
