Hello ! I love your videos, you make it very easy to understand. However, could you explain the purpose of Non-Unique Indexes or where or how is it used ?
Thanks a lot It is the most organised and well presented video. just One correction on this video session the sql command sp_helpindex tblEmployee generate error message i think the table name should be inside single quote like sp_helpindex 'tblEmployee'
hi venkat Sir Please can u send me some of interview questions on Indexes, T-SQL Statements, Stored Procedures, backups, recovery,Replications and performance tuning? Thanks Dickson gulli
when a primary key is created it automatically creates a unique clustered index for that column. but when I created a uniques clustered index on one column say for name column and then altered the table to have primary key on ID column it is allowing. but I should get error when i try to make a column as primary key. As creation of primary key will try to create a unique clustered index on ID. Can you please explain this.
when i deleted my clustered index it is throwing me an error when trying to get the data from table saying"The query processor is unable to produce a plan because the index 'PK__Employee__3214EC07821E96D8' on table or view 'Employee' is disabled.". how to resolve this?
No clarity in explaination.. That's why so few comment. I don't understand what are you saying.. index has no use ..if I believe in what u are explaining. Useless ..just doing work without making us understand..just doing timepass

Really good one , Thanks for sharing this.
Pays extra attention when Venkat says "Look at this"
Very Well Explained
such good content. thanks
At 10:02 - I think it is important for you to explain that by "key" here you mean the key of the index that is created behind the scenes
very good explanation... Thank you
awesome way of explanation..!

Ma Sha Allah it Goods for those who Learn SQL in very Depth. Excellent Lectures for all Students. #Pakistan.
Hello ! I love your videos, you make it very easy to understand. However, could you explain the purpose of Non-Unique Indexes or where or how is it used ?
Used mainly in bulk important tools.
Great
Thank you for this index information.
Please answer for the question that How many clustered index should be there in a Table and why....?
Thanks a lot It is the most organised and well presented video. just One correction on this video session the sql command sp_helpindex tblEmployee generate error message i think the table name should be inside single quote like sp_helpindex 'tblEmployee'
yes bro iam also found the error.but with single code also not working (sp_helpindex 'tblEmployee')
The way you explain.. i can say that you are Dronacharya of c#. :)
Thank you very much
Hi very well explained. what are non-unique indexes? can we create index on a column that has duplicate values? what happens when we do so?
Thank you very much venkat
Nice explanation .thanks Sir.
One major difference between a unique constraint and a unique index is that the latter supports included columns and can be filtered.
Great ... Thank you
Thanks for the videos..I am a begginner in SQL SERVER and MSBI .What is the difference between Unique clustered index and non unique clustered index
Good work sir.
Great sir...
thank you can you expline how partition table in sql to increase performance
Thanks alot
primary key and unique key constraints uses indices to enforce the uniqueness of the record - is it same for other relational databases??
Thanks Sir.
Please give an example when should you be creating a Unique constraint and when data integrity is the objective.
Hi Venkat what about NoN UniQue IndeXes...
thanks much.
Can we change the Sort Order (i.e from Asc to Desc)of the default Unique Cluster index which is created on Primary Key Column.?
nice !
hi venkat Sir
Please can u send me some of interview questions on Indexes, T-SQL Statements, Stored Procedures, backups, recovery,Replications and performance tuning?
Thanks
Dickson gulli
And how to validate the performance after index and before index? Please comment this will be helfull!!!
Concept is clearly explained.
I didn't see that you didn't define NonClustered Index, why?
Thanks anyways
Can we have primary key and on the same table can we create a unique clustered index
when a primary key is created it automatically creates a unique clustered index for that column.
but when I created a uniques clustered index on one column say for name column and then altered the table to have primary key on ID column it is allowing. but I should get error when i try to make a column as primary key. As creation of primary key will try to create a unique clustered index on ID. Can you please explain this.
I did the same and it deleted my clustered index, replaced it with the column on which i set the PK
please do course on python tutorial bro
when i deleted my clustered index it is throwing me an error when trying to get the data from table saying"The query processor is unable to produce a plan because the index 'PK__Employee__3214EC07821E96D8' on table or view 'Employee' is disabled.". how to resolve this?
Thanq
when we are creatig clustred indexes ,why we need unique clustred indexes ,if we crete clustred index ,it auomatically gives uniqueness
HOW TO EXEC A INDEX ..AND HOW WE CAN FIND,ITS FINDS DATA QUIKLY?
Her unique constraint and unique key what is the difference?
So basically, primary key and unique constraints are backed by indexes
anyone in 2024?
We are creating a constraint but items are reflecting in the Indexes and Keys folder, not in constraints ..lol.. woowwww ! Microsoft.
Thumbs up if you are annoyed by the Udemy course ads
Sir, where is non -unique index??🙄🙄🙄
No clarity in explaination..

I don't understand what are you saying.. index has no use ..if I believe in what u are explaining.
