I watched this video holding my Bowser Wowser in my lap. Your story is so cool and inspiring. Hearing you talk about these toys and their creator is so interesting! And I think you've been so incredibly brave to follow your dream and make it real! Best of wishes from Italy! I wish I had seen this video sooner, since I was in California only two weeks ago. I wold have loved to have the chance to meet you and see your amazing museum. Well, maybe next time?

Omg - I received the elephant toy chest for Christmas just now. I'd been obsessed with it for months but couldn't justify buying it for myself. I never knew the history and I really appreciate how thorough you are about this collection and Edwards body of work.

omg I love this so much! First of all, your store is perfect - the colours, the way it is set up, even the hardware on the cabinets. And I LOVE all the toys! I think they are fabulous and special too. And actually, you are as well! I really respect what you have done and I think it is so cool that you found the family and they had all that stuff. That must have blown your mind to find out they had a barn full of it!!! I think they must have been thrilled to find someone who genuinely loved and admired their father and his work so much - it was definitely a win-win, because you will keep him alive forever. It is almost like they were just waiting for you to show up and didn't know it! Love this story so much and I am going to have to get something from your store!!

This is really interesting, but I'm left with so many questions. Who exactly did you meet with, or are you not at liberty to say? I'm just really interested in whether or not the sale was in line with his wishes. Like, did they have any idea what your intentions for the collection was? Do you continue to share those intentions with them?
What you're doing is amazing, by the way. I can't wait to read your eventual book!
