I honestly think I prefer these kinds of playthroughs to your sandbox ones in stuff like this, not that your sandbox videos aren't good (I love your crazy builds), these just feel more engaging on the animals side of things which is nice to see.
My childhood cat died 3 days ago, she lived a happy long life of 16 years. She always was adorable, and I'm thinking these Dryo's are adorable. So Id like to suggest "Shanghai" as a name, her sister, who died a few years back was named "Tandoori". I'd be very happy to see my 2 cats again as some cute dino's :)

Such a wonderful and chaotic start! As it should be - I'm so happy! The exhibit, and park in general, looks really nice already! And the timelapse music is so chill. So many things I wanna comment about! Looking forward to seeing what names we end up with, too!
I tried out the smaller rock shelters for these guys, they seem to not need it because they'll just sleep on the grass, but I was impressed by the fact that they could walk around ontop of the rock shelter. I plonked one down ontop and he was able to use the built-in ramp to get down no problem, which is really nice

Kea would be a nice name for a female Dryo, Kea birds are another indiginous green parrot species from NZ (like the Kākāpō mentioned by a commenter by the same name), and they have this lovely muddied green feathering. They are also mountain animals, which I think suits your rocky and coastal exhibit for your Dryosaurus. :) Absolutely eager for episode 2! Your JPOG series were always so dear to me, and I love how PK will let you go so in-depth with visual design, your exhibits are overflowing with personality!
I think if you do a Smilodon habitat in the park, you should do like a snowy pride rock type shelter for it. Have it over looking the mammoth or rhino habitat mayhaps. I'm gonna try and do that, would love to see how you'd do it.

While I fully hope they don’t make combat a focus… dinosaurs are violent animals, look at the fossil record. Tyrannosaurs. For example. Almost ever -single- adult Rex we know of, has healed bone deep damage caused by other Tyrannosaurs. They fought enough to cause bone deep damage. So, I’d enjoy eventually seeing some form of hunting, as well as some degree of intraspecies dominance mechanic, or fighting amongst eachother if perhaps, you put two bull trikes together, or two big carnivores. Animals fight all the time in nature, for all sorts of reasons, but it’s rarely to the death. So, the exceedingly atypical violence of Tyrannosaur social life asides, I think some form of social sparring would be really cool. (Who wouldn’t want to watch two Trikes lock horns over a lady friend?)
Sadly I am going to say this: I won’t be able to play Prehistoric Kingdom because it keeps crashing when I load a sandbox map, challenge mode and scenario mode

Just some fyi from some costarican dude In the coasts the climate is EXTREMELY wet and damp, yet extremely hot at the same time, even more on the Caribbean coast But, in the central valley, the weather becomes a lot more temperate yet still having a lot of rain most of the year, we even have a big variety of tall pine forest But, the central valley still has very tropical rainforests, it can literally change in literally a couple km On the north part of the country the weather is a lot more dry and savannah like, but still having that tropical rain fall and forests everywhere around the mountains So just saying case you'd want to make a biome change to give the zoo more variety :)
Whenever they add combat the creature I think it would be cool if they had carrion beetles as a way to clean up carcass like the dungbeetles do poop. This came to mind since one of the negative in encloser menus in corpses or carcass's.
…I’m sorry but why dose everyone want these games to be all about fighting In Jurassic world evolution all I see are dinosaur battle royals or vids with dino animation or just mods I’ll be frank I don’t want those features in the game because the fan made content is most likely to become stangent or samey and have nothing to do with with making a zoo or even the animals themselves In my opinion I feel the game should focus on the animals park mechanics and player interaction while encouraging fans of dinosaurs and paleontology to form a massive fan community (park sharing and a photo mode would be great) Now I’m more than willing to have the animals hunt, kill and defend in a natural way as a compromise for the other side of the fanbase in fact I’d argue such a method would make both sides happy In short I don’t want a dinosaur battle royal game I want a dinosaur zoo game

Animals fight all the time, however, it’s rarely to the death unless it has some reasoning for it. Take, for example, T. rex. There is fossil evidence that Tyrannosaurus fought eachother violently, as there is -healed- damage on the bones that could only be caused by another Rex. And almost every single adult Tyrannosaur we have, displays these Rex causes wounds. So, yes. I would enjoy some form of combat/hunting, but I do NOT, want it to be a incentivized focus, unless it’s a direct enrichment such as letting your Allosaurus hunt down a dryosaur, or something. Or dominance sparring, like triceratops or pachycephalosaurus.

WOW came across your video by chance as I have interested in getting it and was unsure after being a little disappointed with evo 2. II had to pause the video whilst I made my purchase I love the fact that everything is modular so your not restrained in building and the enclosure you built is mind blowing!!!! I know the game is still early access but the fact that you can use community mods on top is really cool I am assuming that more dinos will be introduced

you can turn on an option for objects to align to terrain for things like feeders for example so you can place them on irregular terrain easily
