On the second workflow you created at 19 minute and 23 seconds of the video, the name of the conversion was showing there when you click, but you select other and put the same name that was showing before. Should it be the other conversion you created before "mobile clicks to call # - twillio"
Hi Rodrigo! I selected "Other" because what happens most generally is that it takes a while for Google Ads to sync with Go High Level. I had already linked this account before so the option to select "Mobile Click To Call #" was already there but for those doing so for the first time they will likely have to select "Other" and paste the conversion action name in the meantime. I selected "Other" just for the videos sake but if the option is there you should select the conversion action name! - Nick
Hi! Appreciate the video! I went through and added swap codes and set the forward/swap number on the page, however when testing with gclid in incognito, it's not swapping still. Any ideas on why? Something with formatting?
Hi there! It could be a cache issue. I recommend clearing your cache and trying again. If the numbers still don't swap, there could be an issue in which the code snippet was installed. Hope this helped! Nick
Thanks again for the great video! Quick question: sn't it necessary to add a snippet of code to the landing page itself in order to swap phone numbers? If so, which of the phone numbers do I add to my page?
Hey there! Yes you are correct! To add the snippet go to Settings > Phone Numbers > Click the 3 dots next to your Number Pool > Number Pool Info > Copy Javascript Snippet. From here, you can paste the snippet code on your website using Google Tag Manager by creating a new tag > Custom HTML > Fire on all pages > Save. The number you add to your website should be the swap target you set in Go High Level. Once you have set everything up, copy and paste your URL in an incognito window and add /?gclid=test to the end of your URL. This will simulate a click from Google Ads. Your swap target should be swapping with one of the phone numbers with your number pool in GHL. Hope this clears things up! -Nick
Hey there! Technically yes you can but Google gets a little testy at times when advertisers use tracking numbers as their primary phone number in their Local Service Ads. We've learned that it's best to use the business's actual phone number to avoid any issues but you can always give it a shot! - Nick
Are we able to track as well a client phone number as a conversion? A call that's made to a phone number outside of GHL? Like, those clients that don't want to use a GHL Free tool phone number It's on the landing page from GHL, the only difference is that it's not on the pool.
Hi there Alejandro! If you want to track phone calls that were a result of a call made directly from your ad, you can configure that conversion action in the Google Ads platform directly. However, if you wanted to track calls made from your landing page, you would have to purchase a number via Twilio to use in GHL. Hope this helped! Nick
Also does this work for button calls as well? I have the numbers on the website listed as button calls so they can click and call the number as opposed to being a hyperlink of some sort.
Hey there! If you use Google Tag Manager and set it up where Tag Manager fires on every page then you would not have to place the snippet of code on each page. However if for some reason you don't want to use Tag Manager, then yes you would have to place the code snippet on each page of your website manually. In regards to calls as a result of a button click, how do you have that set up? If you're setting up a button and use the standard "tel:888.888.8888" as the phone number (with the # being the same as the swap target) then everything will swap the same and your calls will be tracked even the visitor clicked on a button vs visible number. If it's something entirely different let me know and we can schedule a quick call to figure it out! - Nick
Inside my google ads manager, conversions are not being counted. I can check on go high level and I can see the list of calls that have been made to my numbers, but for some reason google is not tracking them. Am I forgetting something?
Why do we need a number pool? Can it not work with just using regular #'s?
I think the number pool improves keyword-level tracking by call, plus you might get multiple calls at the same time.
make the video in high quality so we can see the things clearly

@@MetaLOGICDesign Thank you so much Nick, very helpful!
great video! Do you know if this works with Local Services ads as well?

Do you paste the "Normal Snippet Code" on each page of the website as well and not just in Google Manager?
Also does this work for button calls as well? I have the numbers on the website listed as button calls so they can click and call the number as opposed to being a hyperlink of some sort.
